Unfortunately, this afternoon was my final Summer Hours of the year. To celebrate, we walked down Hamilton Avenue to check out the newly reopened Melt Eclectic Cafe Northside. We had been to Melt in their old location up Hamilton Avenue where Bridges now resides. But hadn’t made it to Melt’s new home in the Gantry yet. We were pretty excited to finally get to check it out…
Genifer had an Indian Summer…
I had a Left-handed Milk Stout…
There were so many things on Melt’s menu that sounded really delicious…
Genifer ordered The Maureen, lime cilantro tuna salad, swiss, Roma tomato, and mixed greens, baked on Shadeau’s multigrain bread with a side of hummus & Plocky’s Black Bean Tortilla Chips…
And I ordered The Rachel, smoked turkey breast, ruby kraut, Swiss, tangy sauce, baked on Sixteen Brick’s OTR Rye with a side of mac & cheese…
Lunch was outstanding and the drinks were splendid. We can’t wait to for our next visit to Melt so we can try some more of the items on their incredible menu. Next time, I’m going to get a ladle of Melt’s signature black bean chili over their amazing mac & cheese. YUM! 😀❤️
