This afternoon we drove out to West Chester to see Genifer’s mom’s new house. It’s super nice and really big with a big yard and all very West Chester. I didn’t take any photos because I’m really super weird about taking photos of other people’s stuff and posting it online. It’s not my thing. I just don’t do it. After we hung out at Geri’s new house for a bit, got the grand tour and the lay of the land, we all went to Dingle House in West Chester for lunch where I had this monster of a bacon burger…
The last time I talked to my parents, they were telling me about their post-Halloween All Stouts Day adventures at Bell’s Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo. And specifically, they were telling me about Bell’s Arabicadabra Coffee Milk Stout. And look what I found at Dingle House…
Unfortunately, it wasn’t actually on tap. Even though we were told a couple of times that the draught beer was completely current and just updated that morning. And that’s a bummer. But we’ll be out there to visit a lot of more. So we’ll keep checking back.
Personally, I think the vast suburbia that is West Chester gets a bad wrap. On our way to Geri’s house, we passed a bunch of places I wouldn’t mind checking out in the future trips out to the ‘burbs. And I could see the draw of living there. Big home, big yard, white picket fence, two-car garage and all that. It’s not for everyone. We like our more urban, walkable little neighborhood. But different strokes for different folks. And I look forward to our trips out West Chester to visit. 😀🏡🍔🍺❤️
