Cyclones hockey game #2.

We went to our second Cyclones hockey game of the regular season tonight. It was our third game, if you count the preseason game we went to back in October…

At the end of the first, it was 0-0…

Of course, there were some beer pyramids…

Going into the third period, the Toledo Walleye were up 1-0…

For the third period, we moved over to our season ticket seats…

At the end of the third, the game was knotted at one all. EXTRA HOCKEY! The game moved to a five-minute three-on-three sudden death overtime period…

At the end of the five minute sudden death overtime, it was still all knotted at one. EXTRA EXTRA HOCKEY!! And onto shoot-outs! But the Cyclones lost in the shoot-outs.

They do some pretty creative seasonal displays in the foyer of the Newport Kroger…

It could have easily been included in supermarket displays worth photographing. I bet those things take some serious planning! 🙂

There’s an amazing 1940s marble mural designed and installed by the past president of Rookwood Pottery, John Dee Wareham on one of the walls inside of Salon Beck…

Welcome to our brand new blog.

With Milan’s very unexpected and sudden passing, I didn’t feel it was right to continue with Thadd+Friends at the address thaddandmilan.com without Milan. I’ve actually been thinking about changing the web address of our blog for a while now, especially with Genifer and I getting married at the end of February. This just feels like the perfect time to move our blog to a new home. The story of Thadd and Milan has sadly come to an end. But a whole new chapter of Thadd+Genifer is just about to get started. We definitely plan on keeping Thadd+Friends around forever and will refer back to it often as a very loving tribute to all of the adventures we’ve already had, especially those with my best friend, our beloved bud dog…

We miss you so much, Milan. We’ll always cherish the time we got to spend with you. 🙂

We really hope you enjoy following all of our new adventures here at TplusG.com.

The Booksellers on Fountain Square.

Today, we got lunch from the The Booksellers on Fountain Square‘s cafe…

Genifer ordered a tuna sammich on toasted bread that she said was very good. And I ordered an awesome baked cheese sammich with spicy tortilla soup…

Great sammich. And the spicy tortilla soup was really spicy. But delicious. Especially when I dunked my baked cheese in all that spicy goodness! 🙂
