This evening our friend Jen was in a production of the classic musical comedy, My Favorite Year at the Aronoff Center presented by Cincinnati Music Theatre. We’ve never known anyone in an on-stage musical production so we had to go check it out. Genifer met me downtown before the performance, we got to check out the Cincy Holiday Pop-Shop and then we stopped for a drink before the performance at one of our favorite spots from when we still used to live downtown, Horse&Barrel…
It’s one of Genifer’s favorite spots because she loves their Cold One & Old One…
It’s a draft beer and a little bourbon for just $5…
I don’t know why that photo is so fuzzy. I guess I should have cleaned my lens better. After our Cold One & Old One, we walked across the street to the Aronoff Center’s Jarson Kaplan Theater…
There’s our friend Jen…
We had really nice seats in one of the boxes overlooking the stage…
We sat in almost the same seats when we saw the Mersey Beatles in the same theater…
I snuck a couple of photos with my Polaroid CUBE+…
It was a good performance and our friend Jen was very, very good in her role…
On our way home from the performance, we stopped at Higher Gravity to try their latest special keg, Double Dunk by Prairie Ales, an Imperial Stout made with real Oreos!
It was a very good stout. I could have used about six or so more Oreos. They tasted so good when you dunked them in the stout. It made for a great nightcap to a really fun Friday evening. 😀🎭❤️
