Mr. Fix-It.

The lock on our back door broke this evening. I went to let the dogs out the back door into the yard and the little knob came right off in my hand…

We had to use needle-nosed pliers to get the back door open. Thankfully, we could also use the needle-nosed pliers to get the door to latch again after they came back inside.

UPDATE: I managed to find the exact same lock at Wood’s Hardware downtown and replace the lock and add a deadbolt to our back door. It was surprisingly not that difficult at all. This is now the third lock I’ve replaced in our house. A while back the deadbolt on our front door broke after unlocking it to get into our house when we were coming home one evening. And I replaced that lock with little difficulty as well. I’m becoming quite the master locksmith. Haha.Β πŸ˜€πŸ”β€οΈ
