A tour of Northside eats.

The sunrise was pretty this morning…

We had to move our cars this morning because they were supposed to start working on our street…

Before we moved our cars, we stopped for coffee at Sidewinder…

We found parking spots for both of our cars around the corner on Pullan Street…

And then we took the dogs on their morning walk…

Good morning from Northside…

I got a cinnamon roll for breakfast at Sidewinder…

At lunchtime, there still wasn’t any work taking place on our street…

We walked to back over to Morsel & Nosh for lunch…

We saw on their Instagram that they had a Cubano sammich as a special today. And it looked delicious…

It was every bit as delicious as it looked. We love our lunches for Morsel & Nosh.

And for dinner, we walked down to Gulow Street…

We met our neighbor friends at Gulow Street. And while we were there, we ran into our other neighbors and got to talk to them for a while. Now we have two neighbor friends on our street.

A pretty good Wednesday.

Good morning from Northside…

Our final Hello Fresh meal this week was Street-Cart-Style Chicken Shawarma Bowls with bell pepper, pistachio rice and creamy cilantro sauce…

We went three-for-three again on our HelloFresh meals this week. They were all delicious. And we still haven’t had a meal that was even just mediocre, let alone bad. Two thumbs up.

A random Bird scooter found it’s way to the corner of our street…

We got lunch from NYPD…

I forgot to take a photo of our lunch. I think we ordered hoagie sammiches.

And we watched Minnesota United beat Houston 2-0…

And then we watched the last full day of the Olympics. It’s hard to believe they’re almost over already. But we sure have enjoyed watching them.

And we just had a pretty low-key Saturday. 😀🌄🥪🍟📺⚽️❤️

Hello August.

Good morning from Northside…

Early this afternoon we ordered Domino’s for lunch…

I like Domino’s. I think they make a good, solid pizza pie. And Genifer loves their cheesy bread.

we sat out on our back patio and watch some of the Olympics.Track and field was on tonight…

And then we switched over to the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final: Mexico versus the United States…

The United States beat Mexico 1-0 to lift their seventh Gold Cup. And they beat Mexico for the second time in less than three months!

What a great Sunday. 😀🌄🍕📺⚽️🏆❤️

An Olympic Saturday.

Good morning from Northside…

We mowed our backyard ~~weeds~~ grass this morning…

Genifer went out with a couple of her friends in Over-the-Rhine this afternoon. I dropped her off at Queen City Radio…

I hung out with dogs and watched Olympics all day. It was pretty awesome. And then we went on a walk…

Good evening from Northside…

When I went down into OtR to pick up Genifer, there was this crazy car behind me…

We watched the Minnesota United match draw their match against Vancouver. And then we watched more of the Olympics. We’ve really been enjoying the heck out of the games. 😀🌄❤️

Friday burger night.

Friday got off to a gloomy start as well…

Good morning from Northside…

The bushes were covered in these little white flowers…

After work, we walked down to Gulow Street for our new Friday Burger Night…

On our way home, we stopped for a drink at Northside Tavern and then we took our very patient pups around the block on their walk…

And we finished our Friday by sitting out on our back patio fan watching some Olympics for a little bit…

We had a pretty good Friday. 😀🌄🍔❤️

Pineapple upside down cheesecake?!

It was a pretty overcast Thursday morning…

Good morning from Northside…

We drove over to St. Bernard to get Skyline lunch…

And on our way home, of course we get stuck behind a train…

The train wasn’t too long. We made it home to enjoy our Skylines…

It was still looking pretty grey and a little stormy when we were heading out on our evening walk…

And for dinner, we ate our deep dish pizza from Chameleon…

I love deep dish pizza. And we ate our pineapple upside down cheesecake that we got with our Skyline lunch…

We weren’t sure about pineapple upside down cheesecake but it turned out to be amazing. And we wished we would have ordered two slices. And that was our Thursday. 😀🌄🧀🌭🍕🍍❤️

We tried to move our burger night.

Good morning from Northside…

Our hanging plant is our backyard is getting lots of new flowers…

After work, we walked down to Gulow Street. We wanted to switch our Burger Tuesdays to Burger Wednesdays. But when got to Gulow Street, we learned that they are closed on Wednesdays…

Who knew? We never even thought about double checking to make sure that they were open on Wednesdays. Oh well, lesson learned…

So we waked over to Chameleon to get slices instead…

We wanted to start with their spicy cheese bites with marinara sauce. But the bites had been replaced with huge spicy cheese sticks…

Spicy cheesy goodness! And our slices showed up…

Chameleon’s slices are amazing as well. But it’s weird eating pizza when you were really ready for a cheeseburger. But with that said, I also ordered one of Chameleon’s deep dish pepperoni pizzas to go for lunch tomorrow.

Maybe we’ll just move our burger night to Friday. 😀🌄🌸🍕❤️

Good morning from Northside…

Our HelloFresh meal tonight was Old-School BBQ Pork Sloppy Joes with pickled onion, potato wedges and chipotle ranch…

Sloppy Joes are so good. So good in fact that I completely forgot to take a photo of my Sloppy Joe before I inhaled it. And it was delicious.

We watched a bunch more Olympics tonight. We’ve really been enjoying them. 😀🌄🍽️🏆❤️

Saturdays are the best.

Good morning from Northside…

For lunch, we had our last HelloFresh meal of the week. This one was Sesame Soy Pork Bowls with sriracha mayo, cilantro and crispy onions…

These meals are delicious. This was one was no exception. But it was a little on the spicy side. It was the first one that we had to take breaks from eating because it was so spicy. Still, it was delicious.

Good evening from Northside…

We walked back down to Gulow Street for some noodles…

Genifer order some Sesame Noodles…

And I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with garlic bread…

And I love garlic bread. Ohmigosh. We love Gulow Street so much. Everything is so good. We’re so happy they decided to become part of our Northside.

And later, we watched the Olympics in our backyard…

I forgot to take a photo of our projector set-up this evening. I think our set-up is pretty cool. I love the weekends when we can sit out on our patio and enjoy our backyard. And Saturdays are the best. 😀🌄🐾🍜📺🏆❤️
