It’s not Thursday.

Almost every Thursday on our way home from work, we stop at Queen City Radio for a beer and one of their amazing Whip Classic burgers. This week we couldn’t wait and decided to stop at QCR on a rainy Wednesday…

I’ve also been really liking their cheese coney lately. I think their Whip Classic is one of the absolute best burgers in all of Cincinnati.  😀🍔🍟🌭❤️

We ate this OR it’s what’s for lunch.

We stopped at Nine Giant in Pleasant Ridge for lunch today. We shared some deliciously spicy Wu-Tang wings…

And we shared one of their burgers that I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about…

And it was indeed an incredible burger! We also shared a donut from Starlight Doughnut Lab, the new startup from Nine Giant’s kitchen wizard Ben Greiwe…

We tried this amazing chocolate peanut butter donut for dessert…

What a great lunch in Pleasant Ridge! Thanks, Nine Giant! 😀🐔🍔🍩❤️

Wednesdays are for Second Place.

We stopped at Second Place again for half-priced cheeseburgers tonight. Genifer ordered her burger with a side of fries…

And I got my burger…

With chicken wings…

Second Place Wednesdays are the best! 😀🍔🍟🐔❤️

More burgers from Tickle Pickle.

We braved the cold toady and walked to Tickle Pickle in Northside for lunch…

I usually always order the Meatallica…

But today I tried a different burger…

Today, I got the Bread Zeppelin…

And it was outstanding. It’s nothing super fancy. It’s just a really solid standard cheesy burger. And now I think I have a new favorite Tickle Pickle go-to burger…

Speaking of fancy burgers, Genifer ordered the Now Petty again. It’s the burger topped with delicious Swiss cheeses and mushrooms…

Tickle Pickle is so good. We’re so blessed to have awesome food stuffs right around the corner from us in our neighboorhood. 😀🍔❤️

It’s what’s for lunch.

I had a burger from Arnold’s for lunch today…

I haven’t had a burger from Arnold’s in a while. And it was really good stuff! 😀🍔🍟❤️

Burgers from Tickle Pickle.

This evening we walked over to Tickle Pickle to get some burgers for dinner…

We love Tickle Pickle’s burgers. Genifer ordered their Nom Petty with Swiss cheese and lotsa mushrooms…

I ordered one of my very favorite burgers around, the Meatallica with bacon, American cheese, fried egg and mayo…

It sooo good. There were some great doodles on their chalkboard tonight…

I loved this tomato and pickle…

And this sad ghost…

Oh… We love Tickle Pickle. 😀🥒🍔❤️

My 5-year anniversary lunch.

There was a lunch at Arnold’s to celebrate my 5-year anniversary today. I had a burger and a Braxton Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout

It’s nice to feel appreciated. 😀🍔🖐️🍾❤️

Spoon&Cellar’s Steakburger.

Recently, I found an unused Downtown Gift Card while I was organizing. Over on DowntownCincy.com, I was scanning the list of all the restaurants that accept Downtown Gift Cards looking for something new and different from lunch. I noticed that one of the participants was Spoon&Cellar at the new Holiday Inn just around the corner from our office over on Seventh Street. I had Spoon&Cellar’s club sammich a while back and it was really good. So today, I decided to use a portion of Downtown Gift Card and get a Spoon&Cellar Steakburger with bacon for lunch…

That was a really excellent burger. Nothing fancy just a really good burger. 😀🍔🍟❤️

A Second Place celebration.

This evening we stopped at Second Place to catch the end of happy hour to celebrate my being done with my physical therapy…

It’s been a little while since we were last at Second Place. It was just too far for us to walk in the cold for the most of the winter…

Second Place’s happy hour includes $1 off slushes…

Second Place has a new menu

And happy hour included half-price burgers as well!

The burgers were really delicious and the fries were outstanding!

It was great to get back to Second Place. It had been way too long since our last bourbon slushies. And I see many more of their terrific burgers in our future as the weather starts getting warmer and warmer. 😀🥃🍔🍟❤️

Sammy’s Craft Burgers & Beers.

All the way back in August last summer, CityBeat gave $25 gift card to Sammy’s Craft Burgers & Beers in Blue Ash for a photo I took during Cincinnati Burger Week. And for the last year, every time Genifer would ask where I wanted to go out to eat, my answer was the same… Sammy’s. It has become something of an on-running joke. But joke no more. Today, we finally got to eat at Sammy’s Craft Burgers & Beers

I was really digging Parkway Brewing Company’s logo…

We started with these incredible buffalo chicken roll-ups with ranch dipping sauce…

Genifer ordered the Guacamole Burger with guac, chipotle mayo, bacon, pepper jack cheese, tomato and field greens…

I ordered the Bourbon Burger with bourbon sauce, fried onion straws, Swiss cheese, mayo, tomato and field greens…

The burgers were outstanding! Sammy’s burgers should always be in the near the top of the list in the conversation for best burgers in Cincinnati. They were that good. And they had a great selection of beers on tap too…

Now I can’t wait to go back to Sammy’s for another one of their amazing burgers. Such great stuff! And thanks again to CityBeat for the gift card! It was delicious! 😀🍔❤️
