FC Cincinnati versus Toronto FC.

This evening our FC Cincinnati played host to Michael Bradley’s Toronto FC. But first, we stopped at Mac’s Pizza Pub for their special $5 matchday pizza…

And I wanted a grilled cheeses with some waffle fries…

And when we were done eating, we walked over to Nippert Stadium to watch our FC|C play those hosers from up north…

Jozy Altidore didn’t play in this match. I’m not even sure if he traveled with the team to Cincinnati. And that’s fine. I’ve always thought that he wasΒ really overrated. We saw him play against the Crew in Columbus. And he was just as underwhelming in person as he is with the national team.

But even terribly overrated players can scorch you when they’re left totally unmarked just outside of the 18. Like when FC|C was playing Toronto up in Canadia.Β

Here we go…

There were fans at Nippert who booed every time Michael Bradley touched the ball. I found it to be incredibly disrespectful with all he’s done on the USMNT. I think he’s one of the better, more consistent players that our national team has had lately…

And FC Cincinnati lost 5-1. It’s just been painful.

We grabbed an Uber back to Northside Tavern for a drink…

And then we came home and walked the dogs…

It was a pretty fun evening if you take out the 5-1 loss. πŸ˜€πŸ•πŸ₯ͺ⚽️🍺❀️

Oscar and Mack love hanging out under our dining room table like it’s their special dog fort or something…

And we played in our backyard for a while this evening…

Ugh. Our backyard is just… ugh. But it was still a really fun Sunday. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

After Genifer left this morning, the dogs couldn’t figure out why I was still home and she wasn’t. They sat by the door waiting for her to come back…

Later, we hung out in the backyard for a couple of hours…

After then we went upstairs so Oscar could take a nap…

Mack sat by the window and watched the world outside…

It was pretty awesome to have a boys day with the dogs. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Mack isn’t allowed in our master bathroom because he just gets into too much stuff. But whenever we’re in the bathroom, he’ll sit right in the doorway with one defiant foot on the bathroom tile…

Oscar was half under the sofa with just his booty sticking out. But then he decided to get up on the sofa and was sitting like a sir…

They are a couple of pretty funny guys. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Mack thought he heard something or saw something down the hill on our walk and he stopped to check it out. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Mack and Oscar trapped upstairs as we’re getting ready to head out into the snow for their walk. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

While we were packing to get ready to go to Michigan, Mack was playing with toys…

And Oscar and I just hung out…

What a couple of silly heads. πŸ˜€πŸΎβ€οΈ

Happy holidays from Northside.

Before my work holiday party, we tried to take a nice Christmas in front of our tree…

Surprisingly, we don’t have a full-sized tripod. We just placed my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on the little tabletop tripod and placed it on the ottoman in our living room. But the camera angle was a bit too low when we were standing up…

So we tried a few sitting down in front of our tree…

Sometimes you win and sometimes you don’t. This time we kind of didn’t but the results were pretty terrific and hilarious to us. πŸ˜€πŸ“·πŸŽ„πŸΎβ€οΈ

Mack loves to hang out under our dining room table. He’s always just chilling under the table when we’re in our dining room…

He’s pretty silly. Oscar is silly too. He’s been gotten into the habit of laying on our pillows on the bed. Tonight, we were sharing the pillows and he started resting his head on my shoulder while I worked on my computer…

And this adorable photo of Oscar also popped up in my Timehop…

One of our laziest Sundays.

We didn’t do much today. We were in full-blown recovery mode from our trip to Dallas. This morning was very foggy…

We watched Arsenal win 2-1 over Bournemouth and then we walked to Django Western Taco for brunch…

We started with some of Django’s chips and salsa, and we shared the biscuits and chorizo gravy withΒ a fried egg and Chef Josh’s famous tater tot casserole…

Later, we picked up Mack from The Pet Spot in Norwood…

I think he was pretty happy to be home. He slept for most of the evening. We’ll go pick up Oscar this week. He’s staying with his grandma. And he loves his grandma. Later, we ordered an NYPD pizza because we’d been craving an NYPD cheese pizza and we really need to go to the grocery store soon…

We watched some football and that was pretty much our very lazy Sunday. πŸ˜€πŸΎπŸ•β€οΈ
