Pineapple IS a pizza topping.

Early this morning, we got up and ran over to the grocery…

Kroger had both pandas and trains today in the international aisle…

And Kroger always has the best balloons.

Afterward, we stopped at Mad Llama for some java whips…

When we got home, we took the dogs on their walk…

Later this afternoon, we went over to Taft’s Brewpourium for lunch…

Taft’s house salad is terrific…

Today, Taft’s had a special Hawaiian pizza…

Anyone who says pineapple isn’t a pizza topping clearly hasn’t had a Hawaiian pizza because they are delicious. We finished all of it while we watched more Olympics…

We used some more of our Taft’s gift card. And we still have a little bit of our gift card left. It’s been the gift that keeps on giving. We love Taft’s.

And good evening from Northside…

Hello from Northside…

The clouds were looking a bit on the dark side this morning…

Good morning from Northside…

This morning Oscar was given the nickname Captain Oskey. And Mack was dubbed Cowboy Mac ‘n Cheese. Mostly because the kids thought Mack’s spots make him look like a little cow.

We headed out to start our big fun Saturday with JJVE. We had to duck under some awnings for cover from rain showers twice once we were on our way. And then the sun was out…

We walked to Bonomini Bakery to get donuts for breakfast…

Food & Wine recently named Bonomini The Best Doughnut in Ohio…

We ate our donuts over at Hoffner Park…

But we were still hungry so we had lunch at Taqueria 251…

Their esquite is pretty incredible…

And their chilaquiles rojos were really good…

After lunch, we walked over to Urban Artifact…

When we got home, all of us took the dogs around the block…

We stopped at the playgrounds up at the school on the top of the hill…

Good evening from Northside…

We played some hybrid soccer in our backyard, made a bunch of drawlings and had an NYPD Pizza party…

We discovered Rollino Lattes…

And we played a bunch of Uno…

It was a big day. The kids wore Mack out…

We had the most amazing Saturday. It was the best day. 😀🌄🏡😍🥰❤️

Happy Father’s Day!

Happy Father’s Day to all the dad out there…

Good morning from Northside…

Today was the first day of summer. And there wasn’t any rain in the forecast today so we got to work on our backyard…

We dumped 15 bags of pea gravel and 15 bags of river rocks and 15 drainage rocks in our backyard this afternoon…

I think we’re going to need a lot more rocks.

We got cleaned up and headed over to Taft’s Brewpourium for lunch…

Today, Taft’s had a specialty cheesesteak pizza for Father’s Day…

And it was delicious! Everything they do is amazing.

Two of the best words in all of sports… GAME. SEVEN.

We’re so happy with how our backyard is progressing. And any day that involved Taft’s pizza is a really good day. This was a really good Sunday. 😀🌄🏡🍕🐾❤️

We went over to Taft’s Brewpourium for a Sun day pizza party…

We shared a house salad and a white pizza with chicken, cherry tomatoes and arugula…

Their special item today was mozzarella sticks…

Ohmigosh. Taft’s is so good. It’s one of our favorites…

And it was a beautiful Sunday evening so we hung out on our back patiio for a bit…

We can’t wait to keep working on our backyard. It’s going to be so awesome…

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Good morning from Northside…

We ran over to the grocery this morning…

I thought Ice Bear had been pulled out of the claw machine…

But he was just moved from the front corner to the back corner. poor guy…

They were still out of pandas and trains…

But there were still plenty of Valentine’s Day balloons…

Lotsa balloons…

Cincinnati was expecting a big winter storm starting later in the afternoon. And that made the check-out lines really long…

And we stopped for coffees…

Arsenal smacked around Leeds United, 4-2. And Michigan was finally back from their three week COVID pause and they had to play away to Wisconsin…

And BOOM! They didn’t miss a beat…

After the Michigan game, we went over to Taft’s for pizza…

We tried Taft’s newest beer, Hazy Cabana Juice…

It was really good. We got some loaded tots…

Very blurry tots. And we got a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza…

Taft’s had a Valentine’s Day special with a heart-shaped pizza and cannoli. We didn’t get the special deal but they had extra cannoli and gave us a couple…

Good evening from Northside…

And then we hung out and had a few drinks and watched Mavs basketball…

It probably wasn’t the world’s most romantic Valentine’s Day but it was a really great Sunday. 😀🌄☁️🍕🏀❤️

A Taft’s pizza Saturday.

Happy Saturday! Good morning from Northside…

After Arsenal was knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Southampton this afternoon, we went over to Taft’s Brewpourium for a late lunch to get some pizza…

Genifer tried Taft’s hard seltzer and it was really good…

And I tried Nellie’s Lemon Frosty Ale…

And it was very good as well. Lunch time!

Taft’s had deep fried pickles today…

They also had a special buffalo chicken pizza today…

And of course, we ordered the Cherrywood BBQ wings too…

Taft’s is so good. We used our gift card from Christmas again. And we’ll still be able to get one more trip out of it. Thanks, mom & dad!

The moon was so bright this evening and you could see a lot of stars…

And the clouds were really pretty these evening too..

Also, any day that includes Taft’s pizza is really good day as well. 😀🌄🍺🍕🐔❤️

Have you tried The Fiamma?!

After the Arsenal’s FA Cup match this afternoon, we headed over to get some pizza at Taft’s Brewpourium…

Taft’s had Hazelnut Latte, their coffee stout made with Cincinnati’s own Deeper Roots coffee, on draft…

We ordered The Fiamma again…

And we tried Taft’s cheesy bread…

We also tried Main Squeeze Vol. One. with pink guava and lactose…

And we got their Hazelnut Latte sticky bread to go…

Everything was just as delicious as always. We used part of the gift card my parent’s gave us for Christmas. We put $30 on our gift card this time. And we’ll get to use it two more times! Thanks, mom & dad!

On our way out to the car, we saw a train. I could probably watch the trains go by all day. I love the graffiti on the train cars…

Tonight, I logged my 80,000th check-in on my Swarm…

I still really like my check-ins on Swarm!

And we kept watching Manhunt: Unabomber on Netflix. Any day we get to go to Taft’s Brewpourium is a pretty good day. We like that place a lot. 😀🌄🍕🍺🚂⭐️❤️

Cheers to the weekend!

Good morning from Northside…

It was so grey and overcast today. It looked more like a Monday instead of a Friday…

Genifer made chicken marinated in Trader Joe’s Island Soyaki with pinto beans and rice for lunch today…

It was a really delicious lunch!

We finally made it through our work week after our long holiday break.

And it was still overcast this evening…

Good evening from Northside…

We had some drinks this evening. We tried a couple of the Urban Artifact beers Shannon gave us for Christmas. First, we tried the Epicurean Reindeer Pickle. It was described on Untappd as A Christmas dill pickle gose with peanuts and a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Sounds pretty interesting.

It was really good. And exactly as described… a peanut butter and pickle sandwich.

And we tried their Xmas Pickle. It was described as a Holiday Xmas Pickle Miracle…

And it was really good as well. Very pickle! Thanks, Shannon! We can’t wait to try the other beers you gave us.

We also these little sour shots that we picked up a gas station in West Chester. They’d been in our refrigerator for a while now…

The grape was the best flavor. It was actually pretty tasty.

And it finally happened…

Finally. And all it took was trying to incite an unruly mob to rush the Capital and try to overthrow our democratic republic. Hopefully, the world will be a little bit better place for a while. 😀🌄☁️🐔🍺💻🚫❤️
