Today was a really good day.
Today was my birthday. Apparently, there was a full moon last night and we could still sort of see it out of our bathroom window this morning…
There were some really pretty clouds this morning…

This morning we ran over to the Kroger Fuel Station to fill up…
We had 80¢ off per gallon thanks to our Kroger Fuel points…
And then we ran over to Mad Llama for birthday coffee…
JAVA WHIPS!
And it was 29º on January 29th…

We had a $10 off coupon from DoorDash so we ordered dinner from China Food…
We ordered so much food…
But it was delicious. We can’t wait to order more dinners from China Food.
Later, we watched the Mavs lose to the Jazz. Bummer. And over in the Big Ten, #19 Illinois knocked off #7 Iowa…
Afterward, I saw this on Twitter…
And there was this one. 🤣 Poor Sparty. They’re having a rough year. I really miss Michigan basketball. I can’t wait until they’re done with their quarantine.
I had a really wonderful birthday. Especially for being in the middle of a pandemic…

We had our normal weekend outing to the grocery…
The Valentine’s Day stuff is out in force…
Both the panda and the train were in the international aisle…
These balloons were very cheerful. I liked the little frog…
And Ice Bear was still trapped inside in the claw grab machine…
We stopped for Biggby coffee…
It was time to say goodbye to our Christmas tree again…
We made BLTs with seasoned curly fries for lunch…
Xavier beat Providence with a buzz-beater and Wichita State handled Cincinnati.

I don’t really post a lot on Twitter, or really on any social media anymore. But I sure do scroll through my Twitter feed all the dang time. I wonder how much I’ll keep looking at Twitter after January 20th. This is probably going to help a bunch…

It was so grey and overcast today. It looked more like a Monday instead of a Friday…
Genifer made chicken marinated in Trader Joe’s Island Soyaki with pinto beans and rice for lunch today…
It was a really delicious lunch!
We finally made it through our work week after our long holiday break.
And it was still overcast this evening…

We had some drinks this evening. We tried a couple of the Urban Artifact beers Shannon gave us for Christmas. First, we tried the Epicurean Reindeer Pickle. It was described on Untappd as A Christmas dill pickle gose with peanuts and a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Sounds pretty interesting.
It was really good. And exactly as described… a peanut butter and pickle sandwich.
And we tried their Xmas Pickle. It was described as a Holiday Xmas Pickle Miracle…
And it was really good as well. Very pickle! Thanks, Shannon! We can’t wait to try the other beers you gave us.
We also these little sour shots that we picked up a gas station in West Chester. They’d been in our refrigerator for a while now…
The grape was the best flavor. It was actually pretty tasty.
And it finally happened…
Finally. And all it took was trying to incite an unruly mob to rush the Capital and try to overthrow our democratic republic. Hopefully, the world will be a little bit better place for a while. 😀🌄☁️🐔🍺💻🚫❤️
