Sunday Funday.

We went back to Taft’s Brewpourium to watch Michigan take on Rutgers. We hadn’t been to the Brewpourium for a quick minute…

While we were watching the game, we ordered another one of Taft’s New Haven-style apizzas, some of their delicious garlic knots, loaded tots topped with Cincinnati chili and some great Taft’s beers…

Everything was as delicious as always. And Michigan beat Rutgers 62-47! We always have a good time at Taft’s Brewpourium.ย ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ€โค๏ธ

NYPD on NYD.

We ordered our first delicious NYPD Pizza of the year while we watched Michigan lose their New Year’s Day Outback Bowl game to South Carolina…

The game was pretty awful but the pizza was delicious!ย ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ•๐Ÿˆใ€ฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ โค๏ธ

GO BLUE!

I really don’t have a very good feeling about today’s edition of “The Game.”
But nonetheless, GO BLUE!ย ๐Ÿ˜€ใ€ฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

UPDATE: Ugh. Again.

NYPD x GO BLUE!

We shared a little pizza from NYPD to celebrate Michigan’s win over Maryland…

It might be the last win they get this season. gulp.ย ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ•ใ€ฝ๏ธโค๏ธ

Northside Saturday.

We went back to Taft’s Brewporium for lunch today…

I really like their New Haven-style “apizza…”

We watched some of theย baseball and then we watched Michigan lose to Sparty.

It was a really fun day up until the losing part. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿบ๐Ÿ•ใ€ฝ๏ธ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ˜•โค๏ธ

NCAA Midwest Regional Hockey Championship.

This afternoon we walked down to US Bank Arena to get tickets for this evening’s NCAA Midwest Regional Men’s Ice Hockey Championship between North Dakota and the University of Michigan. Genifer had never been to a college hockey game before, and surprisingly, I don’t think I’ve ever seenย Michigan play hockey in person…

Somehow, I managed to turn on the date and timeย stamp on my camera. So that’s lovely…

Michigan brought it’s hockey pep band…

LET’S PLAY HOCKEY!

Our seats were just behind a whole bunch of North Dakota fans who didn’t sit down until after the first whistle…

North Dakota scored the games first goal right at the end of the first period…

And that’s the way the first period ended…

We moved up and over a couple of sections to get away from those North Dakota fans who were a little too into the game. Plus, we like to have a little elbow room and it was a pretty packed US Bank Arena for this championship hockey game…

The puck dropped for the start of the second period…

GOAL MICHIGAN!

But North Dakota retook the lead…

TIE GAME!!

But it all kinda went downhill from their for the Wolverines…

And that’s the way the game would end. 5-2. :/ North Dakota advances to the Frozen Four in Tampa.

Congratulations to North Dakota. It was pretty awesome to get the chance to see a NCAA tournament hockey game! ๐Ÿ™‚
