Cyclones hockey game #4.

At lunchtime, we walked down to US Bank Arena to get tickets for our fourth Cyclones hockey game of the season because it’s Throwback Night... $10 tickets, $1 pizza, hot dogs and beers. And it’s also the annual Teddy Bear Toss night where everyone brings a stuffed animal to throw onto the ice after the Cyclones score their first goal. The calm before the storm at US Bank Arena…

We picked up some Jimmy Johns for lunch while we were down in The Banks…

And then this evening, we headed back down to US Bank Arena…

And as we were on our way to our seats, the Cyclones scored! UNLEASH THE TEDDY’S!

And back to hockey. At the end of the first period, it was 2-0 Cyclones…

There’s always one stuffed animal that doesn’t quite make it to the ice and gets caught up in the netting behind the goal…

Except tonight, there were two…

Trailing 2-1, the Quad City Mallards pulled their goalie…

And the ‘Clones capitalized on the empty to take a 3-1 lead for the win!

The Cyclones are off to a great 7-2-0-1 start in their first ten games of the season! We love our ‘Clones! Click to see all the photos I took at Cyclones hockey game #4 of the season. 🙂

Good morning.

Good morning from downtown Cincinnati…

Today is the last Friday the 13th of 2015. Be careful out there today. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

Downtown details.

Heading off to work…

Heading home from work…

And walking Oscar down to Lytle Park…

We were pretty low-key today. 🙂

Cyclones hockey game #3.

Tonight, we went to our third Cyclones game of the season. They were taking on the Fort Wayne Komets at US Bank Arena! Let’s go…

Puckchop was back!

So were the beer pyramids…

We see this guy at every game, always with shorts and flip-flops on…

And for the second game in a row, our #CyclonesCyclones photo made the big screen!

Actually, it made it up there twice! Once from Instagram and once from Twitter!

And the Cyclones would go on to win 3-1!

The Cyclones are off to a great start this season. They’re 6-2-0-1 through their first nine games! Hopefully, they’ll be adding some more banners up in the US Bank Arena rafters at the end of the season!

Pause for paws.

Oscar was hanging out at people level on the back of the sofa as we were getting ready to head out to the Cyclones hockey game tonight…

He’s a pretty silly little dog. But he’s our special little guy. 🙂

Thank you Veterans!

Thank you to all of the men and women who dedicated their lives to serving our country and protecting our freedom…

God bless America. 🙂

#TBT Pause for paws.

Every Tuesday, I’m going post a #TBT (throw back to) pause for paws photo of Milan…

Just because he is missed lots but will never be forgotten. 🙂

FREE PIZZA? YES, PLEASE!

I don’t know if you’ve seen the commercials or not but Domino’s has a rewards program, Your Piece of the Pie Rewards, where you get points for each order you place. Every order you place of $10 or more, you get 10 points. When you reach 60 points, you get a free pizza. Boom. Simple as that. If you’ve followed our old blog at all, you know we love nothing more than free pizza. LaRosa’s from the Reds games. Donato’s from the Cyclones. Domino’s from the MLB DomiNoNo hitters. If it’s pizza and it’s free, we love it all! And tonight, we redeemed our very first free Domino’s Your Piece of the Pie Rewards pizza…

Heck yes! Redeem that free pizza!

Pizza emoji sent. Domino’s ordered. Smiley face. Mmm, free pizza…

Free makes pizza even more delicious…

We also ordered some of Domino’s Classic Hot Buffalo Specialty Chicken…

Delicious. And of course, no order from Domino’s would be complete without their Stuffed Cheesy Bread…

By getting the chicken and cheesy bread, we earned another 10 points towards our next free pizza! Thanks for the free pie Domino’s. Dinner was delicious! 🙂

Downtown details.

This morning got off to a good start and it looked like it was going to be a pretty day when Oscar and I were out on our walk…

But by the time work was over, it was all grey and overcast and bleh…

And when we were out walking Oscar this evening, we noticed someone already had their Christmas tree up…

November 9th. And you have your Christmas tree up? C’mon man. Stop rushing through the holidays. :/

Happy North London Derby day!

COME ON YOU GUNNERS! Beat those Spurs. 🙂
