Spring has sprung.

When we were out on our dog walk on Friday evening, the blossoms were just starting to bloom on the trees down at Lytle Park…

And this evening they were all in full bloom…

Apparently, Spring has sprung in downtown Cincinnati. 🙂

A foggy Sunday.

It was a rainy Sunday in Cincinnati. On our way home from running some errands, we stopped to look at a very foggy Ohio River. It was really kinda creepy. It looked liked something straight out of a horror movie…

Speaking of horror movies, this building looks like it’s straight out of a horror movie as well…

And when we got back downtown, it was really foggy there too…

It was kind of a bleh Sunday in downtown Cincinnati. :/

Yet another crazy paint job on a car in downtown Cincinnati…

Sure, why not? 🙂

When we were walking home from Nicholson’s, we saw Chris Young’s tour buses outside of the Aronoff Center waiting to load up after his show tonight…

Genifer really likes her some musical stylings of Chris Young. 🙂

It’s been getting chiller lately. Gone are the wintery 60º days of December. I guess winter is actually starting to settle in for a while. I can always tell it’s cold outside just by looking out my window at work and watching the steam rise off the roofs from the buildings across the way…

And to think we just had our windows cleaned at work a couple months ago. :/

Constructing Cincinnati.

Over the last few days, they’ve been very quickly erecting a new tower crane across the street from us for the construction of the new parking garage on Sycamore Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets…

And when I was walking home from work this evening, it looks like they have it completely finished and ready to start constructing stuff…

Geez, that thing is tall. Like waaay up there. I think it’s even taller than the one they put up to build Seven at Broadway. I would NOT like to have to be the guy that has to climb up and down that monster each and every day. But then, I really don’t like heights. 🙂

Seen and noted.

It’s a bit late, but I saw my first Rudolph car of the season on my walk to work today!

Hooray! Those are fun. 🙂

Seen & noted: BRU Burger Bar.

It looks like they’re getting really close to opening BRU Burger Bar at the corner of Walnut and Sixth Streets…

It’s always exciting when a new place is about to open in downtown Cincinnati’s Central Business District! 🙂

UPDATE: BRU has their sign up and open for business on Monday, December 7th…

I know where we’ll be on Monday! 🙂

Seen & noted.

Check out the pretty Christmas tree in the foyer of Skyline on Fourth Street…

By the way, it was Skyline time for lunch! YUM! 🙂

Good Morning America.

When we were out on our morning dog walk, we stumbled across the “Good Morning America” 40th anniversary tour bus outside of the P&G General Offices on a “40 for 40” Express bus stop in downtown Cincinnati…

There’s something you won’t see every day. 🙂
