US Bank Arena was packed tonight. It seems like every college kid in Cincinnati was at US Bank Arena. I wish I could say that everyone was there for the game…
Because it seemed like everyone was just in line for $1 beers. And once they got their beers, it seemed like they just got back in line. It made for ridiculously long lines everywhere in US Bank Arena not just for the dollar beers. We don’t remember it being that bad last year. Nowhere even close. But eventually, we did finally manage to get a couple of beers…
We ended up ducking out during the second intermission. When this game rolls around next season, I think this is one we’ll probably skip. We went to this game last year, and it wasn’t nearly as annoying. US Bank Arena was nutty and the concession lines were way out of control. And the Cyclones ended up losing 3-2 in overtime.
