Happy President’s Day.

Happy President’s Day! We both had the day off work. We used our BOGO coupon again this morning to get more delicious Biggby Coffee

We drove up to Monroe to check out Cincinnati Premium Outlets

They had FC Cincinnati gear at the Adidas store but it wasn’t discounted at all…

We didn’t find much at the Outlets. I got a scarf and a pair of boxers. We started to get hungry so we started to drive back towards Cincinnati and stopped to eat in Liberty Township at FlipSide in Liberty Center

We started with mini corn dogs on a stick…

I love corn dogs! Genifer ordered a hamburger without the bun. I ordered the Say Cheese cheeseburger and put too much mayonnaise on it…

It was a great lunch, the burger was really good and the fries were terrific. And they had this Sir Kensington ketchup that was just out of this world…

After we were done eating lunch, we walked through the shops in Liberty Center…

Genifer got a few things for our upcoming trip. I got a new pair of camo shorts. I’d worn my old camo short out over the last two summers. I’m really happy to have a new pair.

Later, we watched The Forest on Netflix. It was just turrible.

But we had a pretty fun President’s Day. 😀🛍️🍔❤️

A Chicken Tender BLT?!

After a couple of beers at Grainworks Brewing Company, we stopped for some lunch at Rusty Bucket in Liberty Center…

We’ve been to the Rusty Bucket at Rookwood Commons in Hyde Park. But we’ve never been to this one before. In fact, I didn’t realize that there were multiple Rusty Buckets…

Usually, my go-to at Rusty Bucket is their patty melt. But I couldn’t find it on the menu. So I tried this chicken tender BLT instead and it was outstanding…

I think I’ve actually had this sammich before but this time, it was just amazing. The breading on the chicken was like a beer battering. It was just incredible. I think I have a new favorite sammich. 😀🐔🥓🥬🍅🥪❤️

Out in suburbia.

This morning we headed out Ikea in West Chester…

After picking up a few odds and ends at Ikea, we continued on to Liberty Center

After wandering around Liberty Center for a little while, we headed over to Pies & Pints to meet Cleve and Alyssa for lunch…

As the name suggests, Pies & Pints had a bunch of great beers on tap. They didn’t really do tasters or flight but they did do half-pints. We sampled a few of their beers we’ve never tried before. From the right, we tried North High Jalalima Jalapeno Chile Beer, Victory Kirsch Gose, Crooked Stave Petite Sour Rose and Avery Raspberry Sour…

We started with some delicious char-grilled hot wings…

We shared a Classic pie with pepperoni, sausage, roasted mushrooms, banana peppers & tomato sauce…

And a Pine & Swine pie with fresh pineapple, red onions, applewood smoked bacon, feta & tomato sauce…

Pies & Pints has a bunch of great beers and really good pizza pies!

It was a pretty fun afternoon out in suburbia. 🙂
