Deskey lets us work just a half-day every other Friday throughout the summer. They
call them Summer Hours. And they’re pretty flippin’ awesome. Today was my first Summer Hours Friday. We didn’t plan ahead very well, and couldn’t come up with anything fun to do. So when I got home, I worked on organizing the office for a bit while I watched the France versus Sweden World Cup qualifier. Olivier Giroud had an amazing goal for France. As for the office, it still has quite a ways to go but at least I know where more stuff is now. I’ll keep plugging away at working on it…
While I was organizing, I found two $25 gift cards that I apparently misplaced. I also found a gift certificate that still had a balance to Django Western Taco. And there’s no better time than the present to redeem that gift certificate for some delicious Django Western Taco goodness…
Genifer ordered a carne asada taco and she loves Django’s salsa…
Django’s special today was corn on the cob with chipotle aioli and shredded cheese…
And of course, I ordered their amazing chicken biscuit…
It’s one of my favorite dishes around. Just look at that delicious mess…
Django also had a watermelon beer from Lost Coast on tap that was out of this world! I’m really happy we couldn’t come up with something to do earlier. Next Summer Hours, I think we’re going to go check out Island Frydays in Corryville. 🙂
