A foggy morning.

It was a really foggy morning in downtown Cincinnati. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

Two months ago today.

Two months ago today, we got married in Jamaica! Today, Genifer found this…

Jamaica flavored Kool-Aid! We’ll have to try it soon, maybe this weekend and report back on exactly what part of Jamaica it tastes like. And… two months to the day after our wedding, our official marriage license arrived in the mail from Jamaica…

#TBT Pause for paws.

I miss my bud dog so much. It’s hard to believe he passed away six months ago today…

I’m so happy that I took a bunch of photos of him, and that almost everyday a photo of Milan pops up in my Timehop. I miss you bud. I wish you were still here with us. 😔

It was a pretty grey and rainy day in downtown Cincinnati. But it was brightened by seeing these two hanging out in the back window of a car on my walk to work…

And then it poured…

Later, we went out for some 65¢ chicken wings…

It was another Tuesday. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

It’s what’s for dinner.

For dinner tonight, Genifer made these amazing lasagna roll-ups

And they were pretty darn delicious! Especially when it’s with garlic bread. I love me some garlic bread. It’s really incredible to be blessed with a beautiful wife who’s also such a terrific cook! 🙂

Reds baseball game #3.

It was really pretty out this afternoon. So we walked down to GABP to see the Reds take on those Chicago Cubbies for Reds game #3 of the season

We got some walk-up tickets to the game for just $6 using our PNC Reds card. We had no idea what was going on at the front gates to GABP. But there were incredibly long lines waiting to get into the ballpark, and this was right as the game was about to start…

It was worse than trying to get into last summer’s All-Star Game or one of the Reds postseason games…

It was a surprisingly full house for Sunday baseball despite the Reds being walloped 16-0 and no-hit by the Cubs Jake Arrieta back on Thursday…

I wonder how many of the people at the game were Cubs fans though. There was an awful lot of Cubbie blue in the stands this afternoon…

There was the Sunday live edition of the Reds Mascot race…

And this one belongs to Mr. Redlegs…

One of favorite Reds, Tucker Barnhart made an appearance…

We got some dogs…

Then we moved up to the view level out in left field…

It’s hard to take a selfie with your sunglasses on…

This one was better…

Boom! Pow! Cubs win! Cubs win! Holy cow…

Oh well. It was beautiful Sunday for baseball, and it’s always fun to be at the ballpark regardless if Reds win or lose. And I can only imagine that they’ll be doing more than their fair share of losing this season. :/

Meanwhile on the Westside.

We went over to the Westside to watch Genifer’s nephew, Liam play in his Saturday morning Little League baseball game…

Liam at the plate…

This happened…

Liam got to pitch! And he did a pretty darn good job of it too!

Hands in the middle! Hooray! Good job, team!

We think Liam’s team won by a run 19-18 in a five-inning game that took a little over three hours. I have never seen so many walks in a baseball game in my entire life. It was like watching a much younger version of the Reds bullpen. 🙂

Random objects of desire.

There were two Lamborghini’s valet parked on Walnut Street outside of the Aronoff Center after tonight’s performance of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Some people have more money than they know what to do with, and they buy silly stuff like this. We park in the same garage as a Lamborghini that frequently shows up parked in front of nada at the corner of Walnut and Sixth Streets four blocks away from the garage. And here I thought the entire purpose of living downtown was being able to walk everywhere. Silly me. :/

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Tonight, we went to see the broadway musical version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Aronoff Center

We had really nice seats for the show…

It was really a pretty good show. Pretty true to the film. It made the jump from animation to live action pretty well. They added a few songs that were kind of annoying. The performer that played Gaston really stole the show for us. He was spot on. We were happy we got to see Beauty and the Beast live. But if it came back to town, we probably wouldn’t go see it again. It definitely wasn’t a Lion King. Next season, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is coming to the Aronoff Center so we’ll have to see where that one ranks amongst these two. 🙂

Good evening.

Good evening from downtown Cincinnati. There were some big beautiful white fluffy clouds hovering all over downtown this evening…

🙂
