Two vastly different Saturday nights.

They wore me down. I tried my best to resist. But this evening, I gave in to temptation. I  got Taco Bell in Northside for the second time. I finally tried those Nacho Cheese Fries that seemed to be in every other commercial during the basketball tournament…

The fries were a bit disappointing. They weren’t bad. But they also weren’t anything all that special. Just some average fries with nacho cheese for dipping. I wasn’t expecting much from anything that only costs a dollar at Taco Bell. But the chalupas were every bit as good as I remembered them…

After inhaling a couple of chalupas and finishing my nacho fries, I hung out with the pups and just watched basketball for the rest of the evening…

Meanwhile, Genifer had a girl’s night. And went out for drinks with our friend, Tayler

They went to The Hamilton, Bistro Grace and finished up at Higher Gravity…

Michigan advanced to the Final Four after surviving their Elite Eight matchup against Florida State, 58-54. We both had very different but very fun evenings. 😀🌮🐶🏀🍸❤️

Back to Bistro Grace.

Tonight, we walked back down to Bistro Grace to finish off the rest of the gift card my sister gave us last Christmas. Our dinner last week was terrific and delicious…

We shared some more of Bistro Grace’s delicious deviled eggs…

Tonight, we also tried Bistro Grace’s smoky beer cheese with Servatii pretzel bread…

And we decided to share the Grace Burger…

We had the Grace Burger back after Cincinnati Burger Week and it was delicious and amazing and huge…

It was just every bit as terrific as we remembered it. The Grace Burger should be right there near the top of the list of Cincinnati’s best burgers. Incredible burger. I could eat a Grace Burger each and every week. It’s that good. We can’t wait to come back to Bistro Grace. They have some pretty incredible dishes. 😀🥚🧀🍔❤️

Dinner at Bistro Grace.

Last Christmas, my sister gave us a gift certificate to Bistro Grace in Northside…

Tonight, I met Genifer at Hoffner Park so we could finally have dinner at Bistro Grace…

We never noticed the lovely detailing on Bistro Grace’s ceiling…

We started with some deviled eggs with mushrooms…

Genifer ordered the Grilled Caesar Salad…

I ordered their Thursday Shrimp Special

Everything was delicious! I had the shrimp special last time we were at Bistro Grace, and it was amazing. This shrimp special was different but every bit as good. We finished our meal with a trio of creme brulee…

Tremendous meal. And we still have enough left to come back next week to share some beer cheese with pretzels, some more deviled eggs and another one of Bistro Grace’s amazing burgers. 😀🥗🍤❤️

Thank you the gift certificate, Shannon! It was delicious!

Bistro Grace.

We night walked down Hamilton Avenue to have dinner at Bistro Grace. We’ve been wanting to eat dinner at Bistro Grace after enjoying their burgers as part of Cincinnati Burger Week

Genifer had their Grace burger, which was outstanding… And huge…

And I ordered the one of the specials which was shrimp and four cheese grits with beets and brussel sprouts…

And it was out of this world. I could eat that dish everyday and twice on Sunday. It was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a quick minute. Outstanding stuff. And Genifer said her burger was pretty out of this world too. We can’t wait to come back to Bistro Grace. 🙂

ps. There were also some really amazing architectural paintings on the walls of some various landmarks around Cincinnati by artist Mike Maydak. I particularly liked the one of Hamilton Avenue and the one of downtown Cincinnati. Good stuff.

#CincyBurgerWeek: Bistro Grace.

This evening we walked down Hamilton Avenue to kick off our Cincinnati Burger Week at Northside’s Bistro Grace

Bistro Grace was offering their BW Burger topped with sauteed mushrooms, bacon and white cheddar cheese for just $5!

Bistro Grace is really cute inside. And they have a back patio, which we completely forgot to check out while we were there…

I got a beer, the Braxton Hefewiezen…

Genifer got this spicy cocktail with a jalapeno garnish that was actually really spicy…

We both ordered the BW Burger. We also got sides of mac&cheese and roasted red potatoes. Both were really delicious but the potatoes were just unbelievable…

That burger was just out of this world. Cooked perfectly, great flavor, toasted bun, nothing but pure deliciousness…

Bistro Grace is a pretty great little place. I definitely want to come back and try their dinner menu Grace Burger: Fontina cheese, bourbon shallots, beer battered onion rings, garlic aioli and fries. We’re really loving our new neighborhood.

Thanks Cincinnati Burger Week! 🙂
