Sunday Funday.
I was feeling a little bit better today. So we walked over to Northside Yacht Club for brunch. On our way to NSYC, we stumbled across another Little Free Library…
Yacht Club makes a pretty spectacular Bloody Mary…
They’re topped with a pulled pork slider, a chicken wing, strip of bacon and an olive. We shared a breakfast skillet called The Hawt Mess. It had a little bit of everything in it and it was really good. So… much… food. After brunch, we headed over to Second Place to watch the Big Ten Tournament Championship game. Along the way, we noticed this very happy little section of sidewalk on Spring Grove Avenue…
And Michigan won their first Big Ten Tournament Championship since 1998…
When we got home, we watched that crazy MLS snow bowl match between Atlanta and Minnesota where they actually stopped the match for snow removal…
Later, we took Oscar on a walk around the block…
And the mmoon was really big and so bright…
It was a really great Sunday. 🙂

Under the weather.
I was feeling under the weather yesterday and today. And as a result, we did even less than we normally do. All we really did all day today was lay around, watch some soccer and a whole bunch of basketball. It was pretty awesome and super low-key relaxing. The only notable thing we did today was walk over to Kitchen Factory in the evening to pick up a Baked “Friend” & some Crack-n-Cheese to share…
Really good stuff! You gotta love super low-key Saturdays. 🙂

It’s what’s for dinner.
When we were at breakfast every morning in the Dominican Republic, we’d always wonder to each other why we don’t have breakfast for dinner more often. There are those who think breakfast for dinner is anarchy; that pancakes are not a nighttime food. I happen to think it’s whimsical, and pancakes are a food item that can be enjoyed anytime. Luckily, it’s not a hot-button topic for us. Tonight, we proved that to be the case, and we had breakfast for dinner!
YUM! Breakfast for dinner sure is delicious! 🙂
