This is still one of my favorite Prep+Pared dinners. And I’m really glad we get to have this meal again. 😀🐔❤️

This morning we went to Blue Jay for an early lunch…
You can’t see the Blue Jay sign through the trees…
Genifer ordered a couple of Blue Jay chili cheese sammiches and fries…
Basically, chili cheese dogs without the dogs. And I ordered the Northsider Omelet…
It’s a three-egg omelet smothered in Blue Jay’s Cincinnati-style chili with onions, beans, topped with cheddar cheese and served with toast…
It’s basically a Cincinnati five-way omelet and it was so good. We love Blue Jay…
Afterwards, we stopped next door at Shake It Records to do some record shopping…
We still don’t have a record player. We hope to remedy that very soon. But in addition to all sorts of records, they also have some really great greeting cards…

We stopped at Skyline in Clifton on the way home from work to get some delicious Skyline cheese coneys for dinner tonight to celebrate National Chili Dog Day…
I wanted my cheese coneys to look like this when I got them home…
But instead, they looked like this. They looked kind of sad. But they still tasted delicious! So we’ll just say they looked as pretty as these. 😀🧀🌭❤️

Genifer made this delicious Philly Cheesesteak Crescent Braid for lunch today…
It was really incredible. Plus, it combined two of my favorite things… cheesesteaks and crescent rolls. And that makes it awesome!

We haven’t eaten at an Applebee’s in forever. I really don’t know why. I guess there are just so many other options out there. Better chain options. And even better non-chain options. We stumbled across an Applebee’s in Finneytown and for whatever reason, we stopped there today for lunch. Genifer had this Chicken Fajita Rollup…
And I had this Riblet Basket and added a skewer of grilled shrimps…
Both of our lunches were surprisingly good. Nothing we’d be rushing right back for, but yet surprisingly good. Just thought we’d share. 😀🍎❤️
