Gaslight Bar & Grill.

After work this evening, we stopped in Clifton’s Gaslight District…

There were some really cool sidewalk artworks along Ludlow Avenue…

And we walked by parallel parking spots that had been converted into an awesome sociable parklet space…

The recently renovated Gaslight Bar & Grill…

It opened back in January in the old Ludlow Avenue library branch in Clifton…

And it has Clifton’s first rooftop bar…

Genifer ordered a veggie burger without the bun…

And I ordered the shrimp po’boy…

Everything was really delicious. Gaslight’s fries were outstanding. We wish we would have come to Gaslight sooner in the summer because their outdoor patio is really pretty amazing. We can’t wait to hang out here more next summer! 😀🍔🍤🍟❤️

Happy National Chili Dog Day!

After I was done volunteering at the Cincinnati Zoo, I walked about 1.2 miles from the zoo over to Skyline Chili in the Clifton Gaslight District for lunch. On my way, I walked by this great community garden…

And this City Barn…

And before I knew it, I was at Skyline in Clifton…

HAPPY NATIONAL CHILI DOG DAY TO ME! Yep. It’s an actual thing…

Skyline is delicious! After my lunch, I hopped on the Metro 17 bus and came home.

Constructing Cincinnati.

I was riding the Metro 17 bus home this evening and I couldn’t help but notice there was a huge pile of rubble where they are tearing down the old Deaconess Hospital…

That’s a pretty big pile of rubble. 😀🚧❤️

Constructing Cincinnati.

I rode the Metro 17 bus into work this morning. It’s been a minute since I rode the bus to work. I couldn’t help but notice that they’re tearing down the old Deaconess Hospital across Clifton Avenue from UC’s campus to make way for new apartments…

And downtown on the corner of Walnut and Court Streets, the new apartment tower keeps extending upwards. This building’s parking garage is already open…

Happy National Chili Dog Day!

We stopped at Skyline in Clifton on the way home from work to get some delicious Skyline cheese coneys for dinner tonight to celebrate National Chili Dog Day…

I wanted my cheese coneys to look like this when I got them home…

But instead, they looked like this. They looked kind of sad. But they still tasted delicious! So we’ll just say they looked as pretty as these. 😀🧀🌭❤️

Habañero Burrito Monday!

On our way home from my physical therapy, we stopped in Clifton Gaslight District to pick up some delicious Habanero burritos because it was $5 Burrito Monday and we haven’t had $5 Burritos in a little while…

How adorable is this bottle opener they had at Habanero?

YUM! And for the first time, we both actually managed to finish our burritos. You can’t beat $5 Burrito Mondays. 😀🌯❤️

Clifton Gaslight District.

On the way home from workthis evening, I stopped in Clifton’s Gaslight District to pick us up some dinner. The Metro 17 bus stop in Clifton is right in front of Clifton’s beautiful Esquire Theatre…

Across the street from the Esquire Theatre is our very favorite Chinese restaurant, Clifton’s China Kitchen,,,

I picked us up a big bag of delicious Chinese food for dinner. Genifer got Szechuan Chicken, I got Kung Pao Chicken and we shared some of their delicious potstickers…

Next door to China Kitchen, I noticed these guys in the window of a jewelry store…

Clifton’s Gaslight District is just a really neat little area…

Habañero Burrito Monday!

I stopped in Clifton’s Gaslight District on the way home from work to pick us up a couple of $5 burritos from Habanero. Because it was $5 Burrito Monday! And we haven’t had Burrito Monday in a while…

I got our burritos and hopped back the 17 bus to Northside…

Their burritos are so good and so big…

Neither one of us could finish our burritos. And now we have lunch for tomorrow too! YUM! 😀🖐️🌯❤️

We brought home two burritos and chips and salsa for just $11.75. You can’t beat that…

Stopping in Clifton.

On the way home, I got off the bus in Clifton’s Gaslight District to pick up a few things. I’ve been having the strangest, really odd craving for some old skool Sunny D lately. I wonder if Clifton Market has any Sunny D?

After picking up a few groceries including Sunny D, I walked right next door and ordered us some delicious take-out for dinner from China Kitchen…

It’s super convenient that all these great places are right on the 17 bus line home. It’s so easy to get a transfer, hop off the bus, pick up some great stuff and then get right back the next bus! I love it. 😀🚌🍊🍜
