20th Annual Crab Carnival.

On our way home this evening, we stopped at Washington Platform at the corner of Court and Elm Streets in downtown Cincinnati…

As it turns out, Washington Platform was having their 20th annual Crab Carnival…

Genifer ordered the Findlay Market salad. And it was a delicious looking salad…

She doesn’t really like seafood all that much. I ordered the crab cake muffuletta…

The sammich was pretty good. But it was a lot of bread. I ended up just eating the crab cake and leaving the bread. And then it was pretty awesome.

And they had live jazz in the dining room…

We’ll have to come back to check out Washington Platform’s other events…

And we’ll definitely have to come back for half-price burger night Wednesdays…

Washington Platform was pretty good. We’ll definitely be back soon. πŸ˜€πŸ₯—πŸ¦€β€οΈ

Thursdays are for Whip Classics.

It must be Thursday. We stopped at Queen City Radio for a Whip Classic burger, chili dog and some fries…

I still think they have one of the best burgers, if not THE best burger in all of Cincinnati. Best fries too. πŸ˜€πŸ”πŸŒπŸŸβ€οΈ

More Fiery Hen.

After work tonight, we stopped back at Fiery Hen on Court Street…

Genifer ordered their burger of the day…

And of course, I had Fiery Hen’s chicken tenders. Again.

This time we got to try Fiery Hen’s banana pudding…

Genifer said her burger was just okay. My chicken tenders were awesome. Again. And the banana pudding was terrific. Banana pudding is sooo good. πŸ˜€πŸ”πŸŸπŸ”πŸŒβ€οΈ

Pumpkin painting at Higher Gravity.

After we finished eating at Gaslight Bar & Grill, we stopped at Higher Gravity for some pumpkin painting and Halloween beers…

My pumpkin already had a spider web painted on the back…

We got a taster flight of Halloween beers: Platform S’mores Yammy,Β Fat Head Spooky Tooth Imperial Pumpkin Ale,Β Southern Tier Rum Barrel-Aged Pumking, and Maine Beer Company’s Mean Old Tom

Genfier’s awesome pumpkin creation…

And my pumpkin creation…

The rum barrel-aged Pumking was out of this world…

It was really fun painting pumpkins. And they look great on our front porch…

Gaslight Bar & Grill.

After work this evening, we stopped in Clifton’s Gaslight District

There were some really cool sidewalk artworks along Ludlow Avenue…

And we walked by parallel parking spots that had been converted into an awesome sociable parklet space

The recently renovated Gaslight Bar & Grill

It opened back in January in the old Ludlow Avenue library branch in Clifton…

And it has Clifton’s first rooftop bar…

Genifer ordered a veggie burger without the bun…

And I ordered the shrimp po’boy…

Everything was really delicious. Gaslight’s fries were outstanding. We wish we would have come to Gaslight sooner in the summer because their outdoor patio is really pretty amazing. We can’t wait to hang out here more next summer! πŸ˜€πŸ”πŸ€πŸŸβ€οΈ

Sam Adams Taproom.

We stopped at Sam Adams Taproom after work this evening…

We really like Sam Adams Taproom. πŸ˜€πŸΊβ€οΈ

Fiery Hen.

Because it’s Thursday, we stopped to check out the relatively new, Fiery Hen,Β it’s just a couple of doors down from Queen City Exchange on Court Street…

Genifer tried one of their cocktails but I don’t remember which one…

I had a $2 Miller High Life. It’s the champagne of beers…

We started with some delicious Pimento Cheese Croquettes…

Genifer had the Chef salad with grilled chicken…

And I ordered the chicken tenders with fries…

You got to pick your spice level. I chose the second mildest, Nashville Mild. It still had a bit of kick. Next time, I’m going to get the least spicy, Yella Belly. And your choice of fries or saratoga chips and ranch or blue cheese. Obviously, I got fries and ranch. Everything was outstanding. I can’t wait to come back to Fiery Hen for more tenders. Because I really love chicken tenders. And these tenders were awesome.Β πŸ˜€πŸ₯—πŸ”πŸŸβ€οΈ

Taglio OtR.

After work this evening, we stopped at the new OtR Taglio. We’ve been to the Taglio out in Columbia-Tusculum a handful of times, and we thought their Detroit-style deep-dish pizza was just terrific. We were really excited to try their new location at 12th and Walnut Streets in Over-the-Rhine.

Since it was happy hour, we ordered these monster mozzarella sticks…

Then it was time for the main event, we had ordered the Pepperoni and Hot Honey deep-dish Detroit-style pizza. And it finally arrived…

Their pizza is delicious! When we were getting ready to leave, we saw Faces in Places

We love Taglio’s pizza. It’s so dang good. πŸ˜€πŸ•β€οΈ

It’s a sign.

Most Thursdays on our way home from work, we stop someplace to have a drink and maybe a bite to eat. Tonight, we stopped into Queen City Exchange again

We like that place. πŸ˜€πŸΊβ€οΈ

It must be Thursday.

After work this evening, we stopped at Queen City Radio for a Whip Classic burger, a cheese coney, and some fries. We think QCR has some of the best fries around…

On our way home, we checked in on the OscarCams to find Oscar sitting up on the arm of our sofa waiting patiently for us to get home…

What a silly head. πŸ˜€πŸ”πŸŒπŸŸπŸ“·πŸΎβ€οΈ
