A Big Dip from the past.

It’s what’s for dinner.
We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Pork Egg Roll in a Bowl with crispy wontons and peanuts…
It was really good. But I don’t know that it tasted like an egg roll really at all…
Even after you added the crispy wontons and peanuts…
I had one bite that kind of tasted like an egg roll. And that was it. It would have been a really good meal if you weren’t expecting it to taste like an egg roll. It was really good.
But it just didn’t taste like an egg roll to us. At all. Overall, it was just another really incredible dinner.
We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀🥡❤️

Good morning from Northside.
It was another grey and rainy morning in Northside…
We saw two more Northside sidewalk snails on our morning dog walk but they weren’t being very sociable…
And we saw this one who was out and about and being very photogenic…
Snails are pretty neat. Good morning from Northside.😀🌄🌧️🐌❤️

Greetings from Northside.
Good morning from Northside. It looked like it was going to be overcast again…
We saw another Northside sidewalk snail on our dog walk this morning…
But Mack sniffed it and probably scared the heck out of the snail because it pulled itself inside its shell and did not want to come back out. A lot of times if you wait a couple minutes, they’ll slowly come back out of their shell. But not this one.
We walked to Sidewinder Coffee this morning to get some beverages…
I got an iced hot chocolate which is pretty much chocolate milk over ice. And Genifer had a lavender and vanilla iced latte with oat milk…
On our way home, we stopped to watch the machines on Pullan Avenue…
They’re replacing the water mains on all the streets on our side of Northside.
We noticed that Oscar hid one of the new Nylabones under the pillows on the sofa so Mack couldn’t find it. He’s very possessive when it comes to his toys…
Genifer made Chicken Ramen Stir-Fry for dinner…
It was delicious. I pretty much like anything with ramen and an Asian flair. She always finds the best recipes for dinners.
And finally, good evening from Northside…
Even though it ended up being overcast all day, it was still pretty good day. 😀❤️

Slow down and grill.
This time for a bunch of marinated chicken thighs…
We also grilled the leftover chicken sausages and hot dogs from the propane grill…
YUM! Everything always tastes better on the grill. 😀🐔🌭❤️

How cool would it be to renovate and live in this old church on Chase Street?
Actually, I’m kind of surprised it hasn’t been turned into a brewery or a bar yet. 😀⛪️❤️

We walked to get some coffees from Sidewinder this morning…
On the way back home, we stumbled across a few more ScareCoronas…
And this one was my favorite one of the day…
There were some more really good ones. There have been so many ScareCoronas around Northside. And it still seems like there are more every day. It’ll be interesting to see if more keep popping up. 😀🦠❤️
