I saw this guy at the grocery this afternoon…
He reminded me of a Halloween Milan. I was going to get him but he was shockingly $35 and that seemed a bit much to me for what it is. I’ll try to stop back after Halloween and see if he isn’t on holiday clearance. 😀💀🐶❤️

All by myself.
Genifer and her mom are visiting some of her family just outside of Kansas City for the weekend. I didn’t go because it was kind last minute and I’m also trying to hoard as many of my vacation and sick days as possible for next year. It’s the first weekend we haven’t spent with each other since Genifer went to Colorado for her great aunt’s funeral. So while they were driving to Missouri, Oscar and I ordered Pizza Hut because we never get to order Pizza Hut…
The pizza was really good. But it’s also really weird being in our big house all by myself with just Oscar and the cat. 😶🍕🏠🐐❤️

Higher Gravity: Meet the Brewery.
This evening we walked over to Urban Artifact to try their Vanilla Chariot Cherry Gose variant and their new Owler Tart Vanilla Brown…
Turns out, they had just run out of the Vanilla Chariot the night before. But the Owler was very, very good. On the way home, we stopped by Higher Gravity for another of their Thursday night Meet the Brewery events featuring Covington’s Braxton Brewing Company and Braxton Labs in Newport. Higher Gravity was featuring four Braxton beers on tap…
They had Braxton’s Blown Gasket Porter and three beers from their Braxton Labs: New England IPA #002, Sweet Potato Casserole and Belgian Blonde with Chamomile. After the taster, we had a Braxton Blown Gasket so we could take home the sweet Braxton Pint Glass and some sweet Braxton shades…
