Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from Northside! Oscar could sense something amiss in the air…

It was time to break out Oscar’s dinosaur costume. We were happy that he got to wear his adorable dinosaur costume for a little bit…

These pictures really don’t show it but Oscar gets so mad when he has to wear his Halloween costume. We got a few photos and then it came right off. He wears his dinosaur costume just long enough to get a photo every year…

We tinkered briefly with the idea of handing out candy tonight. But it was sooo cold and sooo rainy that we decided to go to Taft’s Brewpourium to get pizza and chicken wings…

Going to Taft’s Brewpourium on Halloween is kind of becoming a yearly tradition. We did the same exact thing last year…

Taft’s pizza is so delicious. Eating pizza was a much better idea than sitting out in the cold and rain, handing out candy to strangely dressed children. And thanks for the memories, Timehop!Β πŸ˜€πŸ¦•πŸ¬πŸŽƒβ€οΈ

We need to do better.

Next year, we really need to do a better job with our Halloween decorations. People in our neighborhood decorate their porches with Halloween lights…

And people on our street hang scary ghost skeletons along with their lights…

We really need to step up our Halloween game next year. πŸ˜€πŸŽƒβ€οΈ

Whatchya waiting for?

Check out this line outside of downtown sneaker shop, Unheardof

The line went all the way down the block. As it turns out, they were queued up for these Halloween sneakers. πŸ˜ΆπŸ‘Ÿβ€οΈ

Seen and noted.

Downtown Cincinnati’s Wood Hardware is all in the Halloween spirit…

And we picked up a couple of pumpkins for our front porch…

Now we’re in the Halloween spirit.Β πŸ˜€πŸŽƒβ€οΈ

You saw it here first.

It’s August 1st. And the CVS downtown has Halloween Candy out on the shelves…

August 1st. Please stop rushing my summer. Thank you.Β πŸ˜€πŸŽƒβ€οΈ

Goodnight moon.

After trick-or-treating was over, we took Oscar on a walk…

And there was a pretty big Halloween moon over Northside…

Spooky.Β πŸ˜€πŸŒπŸŒ”β€οΈ

Trick-or-treat!

Tonight, we handed out candy to about 95-ish trick-or-treaters. It was down a little bit from last year’s Halloween when we had well over 100 little ghosts and ghouls visit our house. Luckily, we bought a bunch of candy to hand out…

And when we were done, we onlyΒ had a handful of candy leftover. But don’t worry, we had some extra candy stashed away for us to enjoy afterward. We hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween with got lots of candy!Β πŸ˜€πŸŽƒπŸ‘»πŸ¬β€οΈ

ps. And Oscar didn’t have to wear either one of his Halloween costumes this year.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We hope everyone has a happy and safe Halloween!Β πŸ˜€πŸŽƒβ€οΈ

Seen and noted.

I saw this guy at the grocery this afternoon…

He reminded me of a Halloween Milan. I was going to get him but he was shockingly $35 and that seemed a bit much to me for what it is. I’ll try to stop back after Halloween and see if he isn’t on holiday clearance.Β πŸ˜€πŸ’€πŸΆβ€οΈ

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, part three! Last Halloween, we dressed Oscar up in his fun little Halloween shirt, and he was so mad all day. He really doesn’t like when we put outfits on him. So we didn’t dress Oscar up for Halloween this year even thought he looked so cute in his shirt and in his dinosaur costume he looksΒ even cuter

At work, we had a Halloween pumpkin painting contest…

Here’s the pumpkin I painted…

My painted pumpkinΒ came in second place, and I won this huge thing of jelly beans

This evening, we had over 100 trick-or-treaters during our first Halloween at our new house. We emptied our candy bowl twice, and at the end of the night this was all the candy we have left tonight…

It was a pretty fun Halloween.Β πŸŠπŸ‘»Β πŸ™‚
