It poured all day and night again in downtown Cincinnati today. It was pretty crappy outside. But we managed to dodge the raindrops and get Oscar out for a walk…

Later, we ordered some delicious Jet’s pizza because pizza makes everything better…

#TBT Pause for paws.

Here’s a few photos from the archives of me and Milan out on a walk at Lytle Park back on New Year’s Eve 2010…

The bud dog. 🙂

Lytle Park.

This evening it stopped raining long enough for Oscar and I to go on a walk down to Lytle Park to check out the lights they recently put up for the holidays…

I’m so happy that they put up at least some of the lights at Lytle Park again this year. It makes the little park look so very pretty. 🙂

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Oscar got to open one of his Christmas presents this morning. He got a new squeaky dog…

I think he really likes it…

And then we headed over to the Westside for Christmas and brunch…

And wouldn’t you know it, I forgot to take a picture of their pretty Christmas tree too. We came back home, grabbed Oscar and headed over to Genifer’s mom’s house for still more Christmas. The Christmas sunset was really gorgeous on our way out to our car…

And on our way out of the parking garage, we saw this Santa smart fortwo…

Someone else went a little with their Christmas lights…

I did remember to take a picture of Genifer’s mom’s pretty Christmas tree…

When we got home, we finally got to have our Christmas…

It was a very busy, but really great Christmas for us. And we hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! 🙂

Christmas eve.

We ran around this morning for some last-minute Christmas odds and ends this morning, and it was 55º in downtown Cincinnati… On Christmas Eve…

And then this evening, we headed out to Liberty Township for some Christmas Eve festivities with Cleve and Alyssa. I completely forgot to take a photo of their really pretty Christmas Tree. But I did take a photo of the end of their street which had a lot of homes that went a little nuts with the Christmas lights…

Merry Christmas Eve! 🙂

On the eve of Christmas Eve.

We were getting the distinct feeling that Oscar was starting to get pretty excited for Christmas because he kept sitting by all the presents surrounding our little tree…

Later, he continued his festive mood by wearing my scarf for a while…

Happy eve of Merry Christmas Eve! 🙂

Low Spark.

We were out again taking care of some last minute gift shopping in Over-the-Rhine, and afterwards we stopped in to check out 4EG’s newest bar, Low Spark on Republic Street…

It’s not a very big place at all…

The focal point of Low Spark is the octopus tank behind the bar…

But we didn’t really get to see the octopus. We were told it usually comes out after midnight.  We hung out for a little bit and had a couple of ciders…

Really cool place. It seemed very chill. Next time we’re in the neighborhood, we’ll definitely stop in for a drink. And next time, we’ll have to try a cocktail or two because their cocktail list looks pretty dang amazing. 🙂

Can you find the panda?

Hungarian artist Dudolf posted a Where’s Wally-style cartoon challenging you to find the panda in a bustling crowd of cheery-looking snowmen. It’s one of those puzzles you’d think would be the easiest thing in the world, but you’d be wrong. It took both me and Genifer a good couple minutes to track down that elusive panda. Try it for yourself…

Did you find him? If so, good job! If not, keep looking. 🙂

Constructing Cincinnati.

Over the last few days, they’ve been very quickly erecting a new tower crane across the street from us for the construction of the new parking garage on Sycamore Street between Seventh and Eighth Streets…

And when I was walking home from work this evening, it looks like they have it completely finished and ready to start constructing stuff…

Geez, that thing is tall. Like waaay up there. I think it’s even taller than the one they put up to build Seven at Broadway. I would NOT like to have to be the guy that has to climb up and down that monster each and every day. But then, I really don’t like heights. 🙂

Christkindlmarkt.

Last night, we walked through the Christkindlmarkt on Fountain Square

And I walked back through this evening and there were a lot more people…

And the line for ice skating was pretty nuts…

Always fun stuff on Fountain Square. 🙂
