Pause for paws.

Oscar got his haircut today. When Genifer picked him up from the groomers, he was so mad. Sooo mad. But he looked so very handsome. And when I got to finally see him this evening, he looked very handsome indeed…

Oscar loves his jelly sammich and duck toys…

The little bud dog looks soooo handsome. 🙂

Back to Americano.

We went back to Americano Burger Bar tonight to celebrate Genifer turning in the last project of her Masters program. And with that she is officially done with school! HOORAY!

We shared another delicious Americano Burger with cajun fries…

With hand-battered onion rings…

Chef Christian sent us over an order of their chips and guacamole…

Delicious stuff! What a great way to celebrate! 🙂

Seen and noted.

It’s a bit late, but I saw my first Rudolph car of the season on my walk to work today!

Hooray! Those are fun. 🙂

Good morning.

The sun was just about to pop up over the top of the buildings as we were out on our morning walk…

And it popped out to greet us as we made our way around the block…

Good morning. 🙂

It was a very pretty evening in downtown Cincinnati…

My parents sent us this delicious box of Christmas cookies…

YUM! Thanks mom & dad! And Oscar was being silly, adorable Oscar…

Throw in some of Genifer’s delicious chili, a couple of dog walks and the movie, Elf and that was pretty much our evening. 🙂

#TBT Pause for paws.

The bud dog was always ready for some playtime…

He was such a happy bud dog. 🙂

Holiday shopping in OtR.

Work gave me a half-day off today to do some holiday shopping. So we ventured up into Over-the-Rhine’s Gateway Quarter to check out the relatively new Elm & Iron

We went over to check out the new Victor Athletics Club on Republic Street…

But they’re closed on Monday. So we wandered back down Vine Street…

To Gateway Quarter staple, Mica 12/v

Soooo much incredible stuff! It would be pretty amazing to be able to run the social media for these places especially their Instagram accounts. 🙂

It’s a sign.

We saw this sign up in Over-the-Rhine today…

This sign would be perfect for the Stick Figures in Peril photo group. And be careful around those streetcar tracks if you’re out riding your bicycle. 🙂

Pause for paws.

After last night’s big fun holiday party, today was pretty low-key. Oscar even took his lounging about to the next level, and made himself a new laundry basket dog bed…

It was a pretty lazy day. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

The Deskey holiday party.

Tonight was Deskey’s holiday party at Rhinegeist in Over-the-Rhine. We walked up to Washington Park to check out December’s edition of The City Flea before the party got underway. On our way walking up to Washington Park, we were passed by the Holiday Bright Ride

It was ridiculous just how many people were at Washington Park for The City Flea and the lighting of the Washington Park holiday tree. It was hard to even move. So we packed it in pretty quickly, and grabbed an Uber from in front of Music Hall up Elm Street to Rhinegeist

There was a big cornhole tournament…

We didn’t compete. We aren’t very good at cornhole. At all. And just like at work, I’m the wearer of many hats…

We were pretty blown away with just how big Rhingeist was inside…

It was a great party. We were really glad we went. 🙂
