Dinosaurs & cheeseburgers.

I’ve started doing these posts on our blog that just sums up our entire day in one post. I like them especially on days where we don’t do a lot. But I’m really struggling with what to call them. I was just titling these posts things like “Our Friday.” but that’s as boring as what we actually did today.

We both had today off work for Juneteenth. Good morning from Northside…

We ran over to start our day with some Biggby Coffee. On Fridays, it’s free shot Friday at Biggby. You get a extra shot of coffee in your drink… for FREE…

We ran to Whole Foods to get some groceries and we also swung through Home Goods…

And then we were pretty lazy for the rest of the day…

Until we went on a walk with the dogs. There were some really pretty clouds tonight…

Good evening from Northside…

After we dropped the dogs off at home, we kept walking…

Down to Tickle Pickle…

For burgers and milkshakes to go…

Our burgers were delicious…

It was a great Friday with plenty of time for quiet reflection. 😀🗓️❤️

Genifer made delicious homemade crab cakes for dinner with baked sweet potatoes…

She also made a delicious homemade remoulade to go with them. I hope she makes these crab cakes again with the remoulade so we can have crab cake sammiches!

She makes some of the best meals. 😀🦀❤️

Another Tuesday.

Good morning from Northside…

We walked to get Sidewinder coffee this morning. They’ve made some progress on the Schaeper’s Pharmacy mural at the corner Hamilton and Chase Avenues…

And there was another mural around the corner on Chase Avenue…

Mmmm, Sidewinder Coffee…

Sidewinder coffee is so good…

On our way home, we saw more sidewalk chalk art…

We walked back home and got all our work done. Later, Genifer made orange chicken for dinner and it was delicious…

It was another pretty good but relatively uneventful Tuesday. 😀🌄☕️🥡❤️

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Asiago Turkey Meatballs with tomato basil couscous…

I don’t know that I’ve had couscous before. But it was awesome. And now I definitely want to have it again. Maybe it was because the couscous was covered in this really incredible pesto. And the roasted tomatoes in the couscous were just delicious as well. The meatballs were really good too. But that couscous was the star of the show. It was another really delicious dinner.

We really like the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meal kits a lot. 😀🥡❤️

Another great Sunday.

This morning Genifer made these delicious homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast…

What a really incredible way to start a Sunday morning in Northside.

Oh. And good morning from Northside…

It was a bit overcast to start the day.

Genifer also made these fudge brownies…

Later, we drove out to Liberty Township to spend the afternoon with Geri, Cleve, Alyssa, and Pippa. And we ate these amazing massive steaks…

It was pretty funny. Everyone made the same joke that these giant steaks looked like something straight out of the closing theme from the Flintstones Bronto Burgers and Ribs that tipped over their car…

It was a great afternoon hanging out in Liberty Township and the steaks were pretty dang incredible. When we got home, we took the dogs around the block…

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had another one of the Kroger Prep+Pared Home Chef Express meals for dinner tonight. This one was Chipotle Pork Meatballs with cilantro rice and cotija cheese…

Those meatballs had a heat to them that kept building as you continued eating. But it had an incredible flavor. Overall, it was just another really delicious dinner.
