Nine months ago today…

Nine months ago today, we were married in Jamaica

It’s been a very magical nine months of wedded bliss. 🙂

A lazy, long weekend.

It’s been pretty grey and overcast the last couple of days. And we haven’t done much of anything but relax. Especially on Black Friday. We just couldn’t bring ourselves to venture out into that mess…

We’ve just watched a whole bunch of football yesterday and today…

On Friday night, we watched Western Michigan topped Toledo 55-35. Western completed their first undefeated season and advanced to the MAC Championship game against Ohio. We also watched Cincinnati lose the final game of their very disappointing season.

Saturday morning, we watched the wild Swansea-Crystal Palace match that ended 5-4.

Then we ordered pizza, watched Michigan lose an absolute heartbreaker and watched Penn Station punch their ticket to the Big Ten championship. And watched a bit of the Clemson game before it started to get out of hand. It was really relaxing to lay around and do next to nothing. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the better part of the long weekend. 🙂

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We’re so very thankful for a great many things today.
Among them is being blessed with amazing family. We love you all.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Gobble, gobble. 🙂

It’s what’s for dinner.

We had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner tonight…

I looove spaghetti. It’s one of my favorites. 🙂

Pause for paws.

Before we went to brunch, Oscar was lounging on our bed…

When we got back from brunch, he was all snug as a bug in a rug on our sofa…

We watched some football…

And after our evening walk around the block, he was back under his blanket…

Until we moved back upstairs for the night…

It was a pretty relaxing Sunday. 🙂

Good evening from Northside.

Good evening from Northside…

It was a chilly but very pretty evening in our backyard. 🙂

Sunday brunch.

We found ourselves up and moving relatively early again, so we decided to go to out to brunch for the third Sunday in a row. We walked down Hamilton Avenue back to Django Western Taco to check out their brunch offerings…

Django was offering items off both their brunch and lunch menu, which complicated matters a bit. Decisions, decisions, decisions…

We started with chips and salsa…

Genifer got a carnitas taco to go with her chips and salsa. I was going back and forth between the breakfast sandwich off the brunch menu and the chicken biscuit off the lunch menu. I decided to go with the chicken biscuit…

I chose wisely

I also saw one of the servers carrying the breakfast sandwich to a table. It looked delicious and it was massive. I’ll have to give it a try next time. I also had to order a side of Chef Josh’s famous tater tot casserole. It’s been waaay too long. And it was every bit as incredible as I remembered it…

Another incredible meal at Django, and another amazing brunch in Northside. We’re getting pretty used to living in the epicenter of brunch of Cincinnati. 🙂

Good evening from Northside.

Good evening from Northside. 🙂

Seen and noted.

We saw another crazy painted car this morning when we stopped to get coffee at Sidewinder in Northside…

🙂

Good morning from Northside.

I love the sunrises we see from our bedroom window. 🙂
