Sunday afternoon in West Chester.
This morning we went out to the grocery in West Chester and I saw this adorable toy…
The mouse has little cheese inside it. How cute is that? After the grocery, we went out to lunch with Geri at Dingle House. I had the most amazing codwich sammich. It was really good. We hung out with Geri for a little bit. She had a wonderful little Christmas scene set up in her window…
When we got home, we watched the Cowboys lose. Again. It was a really nice Sunday.

Christmas in Pleasant Ridge.
This afternoon we drove over to Pleasant Ridge to go to Overlook Lodge and check out their annual Christmas extravaganza called Miracle at the Overlook Lodge…
We’ve heard that Overlook goes a bit overboard with their holiday decorations…
The drinks on their seasonal menu sounded fantastic…
I started with their Christmas Carol Barrel and Genifer their Snowball Old-Fashioned…
Cleve and Alyssa joined us for a drink. For our second beverage, Genifer had their Jingle Balls Nog and I tried the Yippie Ki Yay Mister Falcon…
All the drinks we were really tasty. Genifer loved their nog, and my favorite was the barrel. After finishing our drinks, we walked down the street to Revolution Rotisserie to grab a bite to eat…
I had their chicken pot pie special and Genifer had boneless wings…
Delicious stuff all around. It was another really fun evening over in Pleasant Ridge.

PIZZA PARTY!
We had another pizza party from Papa John’s to celebrate the start of our super long holiday break…
It was really good. But our pizza took over an hour to arrive. I don’t know that we’ll be ordering from Papa John’s for our pizza parties again anytime soon. 😀🍕❤️

Holiday break.
I won’t be here for the next thirteen days…
I have a vacation day tomorrow. And then Grey Midwest decided to close the office from December 23rd until January 2nd. Thirteen days off with nothing to do and nowhere to go. This is going to be a very relaxing staycation. 😀🗓️❤️

Grey counter volcano.
Not to make light of what’s happening in New Zealand but this paper-mache volcano has been sitting on a counter at Grey Midwest…
I really want to watch this volcano explode. But I don’t want to bust up someone’s fifth-grade science project but also I don’t want to clean up the mess. 😀🌋❤️
