Thanks, Timehop.

These popped up in my Timehop this morning…

Oh, the good old days of FC Cincinnati Orlando City B in the USL. I miss those days. And four years ago, we stopped for milkshakes on our way up to Michigan

Also, look how little Violette and Edgerton used to be. Thanks for the memories, Timehop. 😀🦕❤️

IT’S FC CINCINNATI MATCH DAY THIRTEEN! FC Cincinnati was taking Orlando City B…

We were walking into Nippert right as all the supporters groups were marching in…

O say can you see…

That is some pretty serious hair going on right there…

And here we go…

GOAL FC CINCINNATI! Kyle Greig put FC|C up 1-0 in the sixth minute

FC Cincinnati was awarded a penalty kick. Aodhan Quinn stepped up to take the penalty and put it toward the bottom left corner…

But Orlando’s keeper made a huge save. And then just minutes later, Orlando equalized to make it 1-1…

At the half, it was still 1-1…

SPRINKLES!

Orlando City took the lead 2-1…

Tonight, FC Cincinnati surpassed their own USL regular season attendance record of 24,376 set against Orlando City B back in 2016 to set a new USL regular season single game attendance record

And… FC Cincinnati outdrew the attendance of every MLS game this evening. The funniest part was Orlando City B played in front of more people than the Orlando City MLS squad by almost 5,000 people. We hung around and watched the match for a bit. But then we decided to head for home a bit early to try to beat the traffic before the Uber prices shot through the roof…

On the way out, we got two of these incredible posters commemorating the US Open Cup win over the Chicago Fire. Come to find out when we got home, wouldn’t you know it? FC|C’s Danni Konig scored in the 92nd minute to salvage a point from the 2-2 draw. I guess that’s what we get for leaving early. Oh well. We’ve already claimed our US Open Cup semi-final tickets for the huge match on August 15th against NY Red Bulls. And we’ll see you there! 😀⚽️❤️

IT’S FC CINCINNATI MATCH DAY FOUR! Within the area code of 513, May 13 is a day to celebrate all things Cincinnati. What better way to celebrate 513 Day than watching our beloved FC Cincinnati?!

BECAUSE IT’S FC CINCINNATI MATCH DAY! FC|C was taking on Orlando City B

We rode our Metro 17 bus over to Clifton early so we could go to Mac’s Pizza Pub before the game to get a bite to eat…

Great stuff!

Apparently, we didn’t get over to Mac’s early enough. We were walking into Nippert just as the teams were making their way out onto the pitch…

HERE WE GO!

When FC Cincinnati received their first yellow card in the 15th minute, we knew it was going to be a long match…

At halftime the score was still all deadlocked at 0-0. The first half was one of the worst officiated halves of soccer I’ve ever seen in my life at any level…

And we’re back underway…

In the 74th minute, the referee awarded Orlando City B a really questionable penalty kick which they converted to make the score 1-0…

There were 5 additional minutes added to the end of this debacle…

OCB added a second goal in 90th+2 minute that looked pretty offside to me…

And FC Cincinnati ended up losing to OCB 2-0. Without a doubt in my mind, it was the worst officiated game ever. It was as if it was the referee’s first match or like he didn’t completely read all the rules, just skimmed them. It was beyond ridiculous.

Hopefully, FC|C will be able to bounce back this Wednesday when they welcome NPSL 2016 National Champion’s AFC Cleveland to Nippert Stadium for a second round match up in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. See you there! 🙂

FC Cincinnati versus Orlando City B.

This evening we went to watch FC Cincinnati take on Orlando City B at Nippert

At halftime, it was still nil-nil…

SPRINKLES!

1-0 to FC Cincinnati!

And FC Cincinnati reset the USL single game attendance record again for the third time this season…

And that’s the way the match end, 1-0 to FC Cincinnati

And…

With today’s win, FC Cincinnati clinched a home match in the first round of the USL playoffs

FC|C’s home playoff match will be played on Sunday, October 2nd. Get your playoff tickets now! We’ll see you there! 🙂

Pause for paws.

Last night, FC Cincinnati played away at Orlando City B. The match was supposed to start at 7:30pm. But kickoff was delayed by weather four times. We weren’t terribly upset by the weather delays because it gave up time to run to Dairy Queen in Northern Kentucky to grab some Blizzards before the match started. Finally, the match actually started at 9:45pm. And as loyal supporters of our home town team, we stayed up late and watched the entire match, and we were rewarded with a 3-1 FC|C win! But this morning, we’re feeling a bit like Oscar…

All we want this morning is some more sleep. Taken with Instagram. 🙂
