We got to the top of the hill at the end of our street and I was lucky enough to get this photo of our little family minus me and the cat…

This evening we had an NYPD Pizza party. And NYPD got their awning back…
We got two medium pizzas tonight…
Genifer got her pepperoni and banana pepper pizza…
I had been wanted to try the NYPD’s Crimebuster…
The Crimebuster is NYPD’s almost everything pizza, loaded with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, ground beef, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and green olives…
And it was delicious. It reminded me a lot of the pizza we had in Louisville. We love NYPD Pizza. And then we played ball in the backyard for another 30 minutes…
Pizza parties make Thursdays pretty darn awesome. 😀🗓️🍕❤️

This has felt like a really long week. But made it to Friday. And to celebrate this morning, we walked to Sidewinder to get coffee…

Our drinks were so good.
Genifer went with her sister to get pedicures. I cranked all day to get my work done.
And then we walked the dogs…

I stayed up to watch my Minnesota United play the 10:30pm late match to a 0-0 draw with Real Salt Lake. I’m probably going to be tired tomorrow. It’s a good thing we’re still in the middle of a pandemic and there really isn’t much of anything to do. 😀🌄☕️❤️

A Thursday that feels like Friday.
Today is Thursday but it’s kind of our Friday. We both have four-day holiday weekends for the Fourth of July. Let’s get this party started. Good morning from Northside…

We went on the rare lunchtime dog walk around the block…
And we went on our evening walk as well…

And to celebrate the start of our long holiday weekend, we started our weekend with an NYPD Pizza party…
We got boneless wings and a large Station House pizza with banana peppers…
NYPD’s pizza is sooo good. And there was an almost full moon tonight…

We walked to get Sidewinder coffee this morning. They’ve made some progress on the Schaeper’s Pharmacy mural at the corner Hamilton and Chase Avenues…
And there was another mural around the corner on Chase Avenue…
Mmmm, Sidewinder Coffee…
Sidewinder coffee is so good…
On our way home, we saw more sidewalk chalk art…
We walked back home and got all our work done. Later, Genifer made orange chicken for dinner and it was delicious…

Greetings from Northside.
Good morning from Northside. It looked like it was going to be overcast again…
We saw another Northside sidewalk snail on our dog walk this morning…
But Mack sniffed it and probably scared the heck out of the snail because it pulled itself inside its shell and did not want to come back out. A lot of times if you wait a couple minutes, they’ll slowly come back out of their shell. But not this one.
We walked to Sidewinder Coffee this morning to get some beverages…
I got an iced hot chocolate which is pretty much chocolate milk over ice. And Genifer had a lavender and vanilla iced latte with oat milk…
On our way home, we stopped to watch the machines on Pullan Avenue…
They’re replacing the water mains on all the streets on our side of Northside.
We noticed that Oscar hid one of the new Nylabones under the pillows on the sofa so Mack couldn’t find it. He’s very possessive when it comes to his toys…
Genifer made Chicken Ramen Stir-Fry for dinner…
It was delicious. I pretty much like anything with ramen and an Asian flair. She always finds the best recipes for dinners.
And finally, good evening from Northside…
Even though it ended up being overcast all day, it was still pretty good day. 😀❤️

We walked to get some coffees from Sidewinder this morning…
On the way back home, we stumbled across a few more ScareCoronas…
And this one was my favorite one of the day…
There were some more really good ones. There have been so many ScareCoronas around Northside. And it still seems like there are more every day. It’ll be interesting to see if more keep popping up. 😀🦠❤️

This morning we walked to get some Sidewinder Coffee before getting to work…
And we can now order ahead through Sidewinder’s website…
We had been placing our order over the phone for carryout. We’ll definitely have to try ordering through their website next time we get Sidewinder coffees. And I’m sure that will be very soon! 😀☕️❤️

Coffee on a rainy morning.
It was another grey and rainy morning. So we ran over to get some Sidewinder coffee before Genifer headed out to work…
And Sidewinder had new cinnamon rolls again…
Those new cinnamon rolls are really good. Sidewinder is always a great way to start a morning, especially a really rainy one. 😀☕️❤️
