FC Cincinnati versus Wayne Rooney.
This evening FC Cincinnati played host to Wayne Rooney and DC United. It was the other match that we were kinda excited about this season because of who was going to be on the pitch tonight at Nippert Stadium. They were handing out terrific
little FC Cincinnati away jersey rally towels before today’s match…
And that’s pretty cool because I really have a thing for rally towels. I love them…
The match was being televised on ESPN as the Match of the Week or something and that meant there were cameras everywhere…
It was a white-out at Nippert Stadium for today’s match…
All of a sudden it made sense why they were giving out white away jersey rally towels. And there he is…
The man. The Myth. The Legend…
Wayne Rooney…
I was also rather surprised at how many people brought their Wayne Rooney jerseys to the match in hopes that Wayne would sign them…
He didn’t sign one of them. In fact, he didn’t even look it their direction…
At halftime, FC|C honored Cincinnati native and World Cup champion, Rose Lavelle…
So that was pretty neat to see Rose Lavelle…
And that was that. DC United won 4-1 and Wayne Rooney one-upped Zlatan and scored at Nippert Stadium. After the match was mercifully over, we stopped at Penn Station for sammiches while we waited for the Uber prices to stop surging…
Unlike FC|C, Penn Station is sooo good. 😀⚽️❤️

We had Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken with for dinner tonight. Again…
But it’s soooo good. Especially when the Mandarin Orange Chicken is paired with a whole bunch of potstickers! 😀🥡❤️

Happy Fourth of July! Happy birthday America! We walked through the one and only Northside Fourth of July Parade…
We walked over to Northside Yacht Club for lunch…
NSYC was having an all-you-could-eat cookout with burgers and brats and fried chicken and all the delicious cookout sides. It was pretty amazing and so delicious…
And genifer tried one of Yacht Clubs’ Capri-Sun of Anarchy…
And then we walked over to Hoffner Park to check out the Rock ‘n Roll Carnival…
We had one a UA Keypunch…
And had a slice of Chameleon cheese pizza…
It was a really good Northside Fourth of July! ‘MURICA! 😀🇺🇸❤️

This morning at Grey, they replaced our normal Friday morning bagels with donuts from Daylight Donuts. Let’s see if anyone notices…

We ate the rest of our chicken sausages for dinner and tonight, we put them on King’s Hawaiian Roll split-top hot dog buns…
YUM! Did you know they made King’s Hawaiian Roll split-tip hot dog buns? Neither did I! They are soooo good. And I love split-top hot dog buns. Especially when they’re Kings Hawaiian Roll hot dog buns. 😀🐔🌭❤️
