All by myself.

Genifer and her mom are visiting some of her family just outside of Kansas City for the weekend. I didn’t go because it was kind last minute and I’m also trying to hoard as many of my vacation and sick days as possible for next year. It’s the first weekend we haven’t spent with each other since Genifer went to Colorado for her great aunt’s funeral. So while they were driving to Missouri, Oscar and I ordered Pizza Hut because we never get to order Pizza Hut…

The pizza was really good. But it’s also really weird being in our big house all by myself with just Oscar and the cat. 😶🍕🏠🐐❤️

Genifer made this Slow Cooker Chicken and Mushroom Stroganoff recipe for dinner tonight that she found on the Pinterest…

It was delicious! And it went especially well with garlic bread. I think this is going to be another new favorite! Genifer is such a good cook! 😀❤️

Genifer made Honey Sriracha Chicken for dinner again tonight…

It’s one of my favorite meals she makes. She also made a whole bunch of delicious Pagoda® appetizers too. We had a bunch of Crab Rangoons, Korean BBQ Beef Wontons and Pork Potstickers…

It was a great dinner made even better with some great apps. YUM! 😀🍜🍚❤️

It was Skyline time for lunch today…

I tried one of their new limited time andouille sausage coneys…

It was pretty good but I’ll just stick with my normal cheese coneys with extra mustard and no onions. 😀🧀🌭❤️

Sunday Funday.

This afternoon we dodged the raindrops and walked down to Higher Gravity to watch FC Cincinnati’s second to last match of the regular season away to Ottawa Fury and that other “professional” football team from Cincinnati was playing too…

Genifer’s mom, Geri has been staying with us while she closes on her new house…

FC Cincinnati lost to Ottawa 4-0. Now they sit precariously in the final playoff spot with one match remaining. After the soccer match, we went home to watch our Dallas Cowboys take on the Green Bay Packers. And we got some delicious NYPD Pizza for the late afternoon game…

Isn’t it amazing how all pizza is so similar yet so completely different at the same time?Oh. And the Cowboys lost on the final drive of the game, 35-31. It was another really fun day in Northside if you get past all the losing. 😀🍺🍕🤠🏈😕❤️
