#TBT Pause for paws.

We love you so much and miss you everyday, bud dog. You would have really loved our new backyard and walking around our new neighborhood. 😟

Are you ready for some football?

We watched a whole bunch of football this weekend. On Saturday, we watched Arsenal destroy Chelsea 3-0. Then Cleve and Alyssa came over in the afternoon to watch the Michigan thump Penn State 49-10. And later, FC Cincinnati won their final match of the regular season 1-0 over the Pittsburgh Riverhoundz. On Sunday, we went back over to Boswell’s Alley to watch those Bengals lose to the Broncos but the wings and quesadilla were great…

And when we came home, we got to watch the Cowboys roll over the Bears on Sunday night football. It was a pretty great weekend of football. 🙂

Pause for paws.

I think Oscar likes our backyard as much as we do…

Good morning from Northside.

Walking Oscar this morning, looking back down on our street…

Good morning from Northside. 🙂

A Wednesday evening in Northside.

I met Genifer at Hoffner park again to walk through the Northside Farmers Market

I got the most amazing pecan roll from Shadeau Breads. It was so delicious. Next week when I get more, I’ll try to remember to post a photo of it. It was really amazing. We walked down Blue Rock passed Cincinnati Fire Department – Station 20…

And we stopped into Boswell’s Alley for a bite to eat…

We shared some wings and sliders. Both were pretty delicious…

Boswell’s has a pretty awesome back patio…

It was another fun evening in Northside. 🙂

Orient.

I’ve been having a craving for Chinese food lately. Unfortunately, one thing that the Northside is missing, or that we haven’t discovered yet, is a good Chinese restaurant. Thankfully, I can satisfy my hankering for some good Chinese food by just taking a quick walk from my office down Main Street…

Thank goodness for Orient

And here is the delicious General Tso’s chicken I had for lunch…

YUM! 🙂

Good morning.

Good morning from Northside. I love watching the sun rise above the houses and trees from our bedroom window. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

It’s what’s for dinner.

Genifer made cheese tortellini for dinner tonight…

Yum! And not pictured was the garlic bread. I love me some garlic bread. 🙂

A new record high.

I set a new record high for points from my check-ins on my Swarm last week…

Even after all these years, I still find Swarm to be fun. 🙂

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati 2016!

It’s that time of year again. Time for the largest Oktoberfest in all of America, Oktoberfest Zinzinnati. One of the most fun weekend’s of the entire year in downtown Cincinnati…

We used to love Oktoberfest weekend when we lived downtown. This was the first year it hasn’t been right outside our front door. It was also the first year of the new location for Oktoberfest Zinzinnati down in The Banks on Second and Third Streets to accommodate Cincinnati’s new streetcar CB Connector. After today’s Reds game, we wandered over to see what the new look Oktoberfest Zinzinnati actually looked like…

We found the Klaberheads…

GOETTA & CHEDDA!

Oktoberfest might have moved a couple blocks south but it’s still the same big fun. And being able to walk out your front door to Oktoberfest might be one of the few things I actually miss about living downtown. Thank goodness for the 17 bus and Uber. 🙂
