Lunch at Wahlburgers.

Recently a new Wahlburgers opened in downtown Cincinnati at the corner of Main and Sixth Streets in the location of the old Pi Pizzeria. I’ve been really wanting to check out Wahlburgers since I heard it opened. But I’ve been holding off because we knew we were going to be staying downtown this weekend for Bunbury. We walked from our hotel up to finally check out Wahlburgers…

They had so many good sounding burgers on their menu. Genifer had The Our Burger and I had The Original Melt. Their burgers are so good and their fries are amazing. After we finished our fantastic lunch. We moved to the bar and tried one of their signature cocktails Wahlcoctions. Genifer had the Strawberry Jalapeno Margarita and I had the Spiked Cherry Coke…

Wahlburgers was awesome. I can see myself picking up many, many future lunches from Wahlburgers. They’re great.

Also, when did a Taco Bell Catina open up right next door to Wahlburgers?

The corner of Main and Sixth just became my new favorite lunch spot! 😀🍔🥂❤️

Bunbury Saturday.

After the dropping the buddies at Best Friends, we made it downtown and checked into our room for the weekend at the Renaissance Hotel in the old Bartlett Building at the corner of Walnut and Fourth Streets. Our room was really nice…

And then we walked down to Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove to experience the big fun musical excitement of Bunbury Music Festival

Genifer got us VIP tickets…

One of the best parts of being VIP was how close you could get to the stage…

One of the first bands we got to listen to was the band we were the most excited about, Third Eye Blind

It was the first time I’ve ever seen them live, and they were awesome! I took a handful of videos of their performance. After Third Eye Blind finished, we walked across Sawyer to the other big stage. It was kind of a mess to get to over to the other stage. There were really three paths: One to the right through the people waiting in long lines for food, one to the left through the people waiting in lines for the bathrooms or through the center through the people listening to the music. We waded through the sea of people waiting in lines for the restrooms and eventually made it to the other VIP area…

The Saturday night headliner was Incubus…

There were so many great bands that played tonight. It was really a fantastic time. And once again, Third Eye Blind was just terrific. They were the highlight of our Bunbury Saturday. After Incubus completed their set, we walked from Sawyer Point back up from the riverfront into Central Business District, down Fourth Street passed our hotel to get some late night Dominos pizza…

We used to get Dominos pizza all the time when we lived downtown. Dominos pizza is one of the few things we miss about not living downtown. Because Dominos pizza is so good and so cheap…

And then we went back to the hotel to eat our delicious pizza and then we were off to bed. It was a really great Saturday of music at Bunbury Music Festival. 😀🎸🎶🍕❤️

This doesn’t look good.

It looks like it’s going to start pouring down rain at any second. 😀☁️☔️🌧️❤️

Imagine that.

Another rainy day in Cincinnati…

The top photo was taken with my Polaroid CUBE and the bottom photo was taken with Instagram.  😕🌧️☔️❤️

Whoa! What the heck happened?!

As I was packing up to leaving work, I heard a whole bunch of sirens racing around the city. I didn’t give it a lot of thought because it happens not a lot but often. As I was leaving the building, I noticed police had Main Street closed at Eighth Street. Odd. As I walked up Main Street to the bus stop, I saw why…

Someone flipped their car in the middle of the intersection at Main and Ninth Streets. And it was the only vehicle involved in the accident…

It was really weird and no one could figure out how this happened. Ninth Street is very flat. The roads were very dry. And only one car was involved. How this happened will forever remain a mystery to me. I just hope everyone involved was okay. 😀🚗🗯️❤️

It’s Skyline time!

It was Skyline time for lunch today!

YUM! 😀🧀🌭❤️

Seen and noted.

It’s funny that trying to cover up graffiti with paints that really aren’t anywhere close to matching sort of becomes it’s own special kind of Marc Rothko styled minimalist color block graffiti…

I’m going to have to keep an eye out for more examples of this. It’s kind of beautiful in its own unique way. 😀🎨🖌️❤️

Crisis averted.

I thought I had lost my Polaroid CUBE. I hadn’t been able to locate it for about a week. I’m usually very good with my electronicals and every day carry items, and very rarely do I misplace them. But I was really beginning to think my little CUBE was a goner. I inadvertently looked behind my computer monitor at work today and there it was…

I’m a ding dong. I wonder how long it’s been back there? 😀📷❤️
