Odds & Ends.

Look at this huge container of cheese balls we got at Sams’s Club…

WHOA! That’s a lot of cheese balls! Made with real cheese! 🙂

Northside Sunday.

We walked down to Second Place to watch the Bengals game. And one the way, we noticed a couple of things. We noticed that there’s a new place scheduled to open up in January on Hamilton Avenue called The Hamilton…

Exciting. And a couple doors down is Fat City Billiards, also coming in January…

And then it was on to Second Place...

We ordered some of Second Place’s Sunday half-priced wings and cornbread…

Really good stuff! It was another great Sunday in Northside. 🙂

O Christmas tree.

We went and picked out our first full-sized Christmas tree this afternoon…

We managed to slide our tree in the trunk of our car instead of tying it to the roof. That was a pretty dumb idea because now there’s a bunch of pine needles in our trunk…

Our tree looked a lot bigger at the store…

It looked like Chrismas exploded on our dining room table…

Once it was all decorated, it was a very pretty little tree…

Next year, we’re going to get a bigger tree. And try to find someone that delivers. 🙂

The Deskey holiday party.

Tonight was Deskey’s holiday party at The Frock in Covington…

After the party, we stopped at Braxton Brewing Company for a beer. It was a great night celebrating the holidays with some really great people. 🙂

Christmas ornaments.

My parents sent me all of my Christmas ornaments from my childhood…

And they even included a new ornament for us…

All we need now is a Christmas tree to put them on. Thanks mom & dad! 🙂

Northside Yacht Club.

We ventured up into Northside to check out Northside Yacht Club for for the first time and maybe get our Valentine’s Day brunch on…

We shared a Valentine’s Day brunch of bacon pancakes topped with bacon served with bourbon infused Ohio maple syrup and home fries. The pancakes were delicious and that syrup was out of this world…

NSYC is a pretty awesome place, and everyone there was so nice and friendly. We really can’t wait to go back to try one of their Sunday Brunch Bloody Marys. They were topped with a pulled pork slider, chicken wing, bacon and a pickle and looked absolutely amazing. The drink that eats like a meal. 🙂

Dingle House.

After every trip to Ikea, we always stop at Dingle House in West Chester for a bite to eat.

Genifer had this delicious Shamrock Salad…

On Sundays, all Irish fare is just $9.99. I almost felt obligated to order the fish & chips…

Delicious and a huge order of fish & chips! And they had Mad Tree beers on tap!
Great stuff! 🙂
