It’s a sign.

One of my favorite signs of all time around Cincinnati is the one I get to see almost every day. It’s a sign for Word Play Cincy‘s Urban Legend Typewriters

At Urban Legend Typewriters, they sell refurbished typewriters of all ages and also offer cleaning and repair services so you can make sure your typewriter is always in top condition. 100% of the proceeds go to supporting Word Play’s students and programs…

Check out which typewriters are currently for sale! 😀❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

Genifer made these Garlic butter Steak Bites with Lemon Zucchini Noodles for dinner tonight and once again, she knocked dinner out of the park. It was delicious!

She does such an incredible job of finding terrific dishes to make for dinner. It really reminded me of steak bites we used to get at the old Crave in The Banks. 😀🍜❤️

Deskey details.

Recently, I was put in charge of Deskey’s Instagram. I’ve been trying to collect photos from around work to use in Instagram posts. I also started my own personal work-related Instagram, @Dsgn_Life to post the other things not relevant enough for the official Deskey Instagram or more personal to my everyday experiences at Deskey…

Recently, Deskey officially became part of downtown Cincinnati’s brand new Eighth Street Design District. And there’s a sign in front of the building to prove it…

The Deskey mantra is on the front windows of the building…

In the foyer is the ongoing Deskey Hand Culture Project. Everyone contributed their own personal tchotchke to be displayed…

This was my contribution. One of the magnets we made for our wedding

Our lobby…

Personal. Simple. True. They are the words we live by at Deskey…

PERSONAL defines everything we do. We’re humans relating to humans, so we seek the shared values that connect us. SIMPLE ideas are memorable, easily spread and can change the world. We distill ideas to the most instinctive form possible. TRUE is being authentic and transparent. Follow your beliefs, embrace your principles, and you’ll attract those who do the same.

And we celebrated a couple of big wins…

The second had really odd ingredients to celebrate a new client from up north…

I’m excited to get to share more about Deskey through Instagram. You can see all the photos I’ve uploaded from Deskey in my Deskey Flickr album. 😀📷❤️

Genifer whipped up some pretty incredible Chili Mac for dinner tonight…

Chili Mac is delicious. 😀🍜❤️

My Swarm September Recap.

According to my Swarm recap, I checked less in September than I did in August

It will be interesting to see how many times I check-in in October. I wonder if being up in Michigan in August pushed my totals higher or if I just forgot to do some check-ins last month. either way, I still really love my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

ps. I can’t believe it’s already October. 🤪

Fantasy baseball 2018 wrap-up.

Like I said a few weeks ago, I had five teams competing in ESPN head-to-head points leagues. Of those five teams, four ended the regular season as the division winner and entered the playoffs as either first or second seed overall. And of those four teams that entered the playoffs as the first or second seed, I had two teams lose in the semifinals. One team finished in third place, and the other finished in fourth. Two teams made the championship but only one won their championship matchup, my Dilly Dogs…

Fantasy baseball is pretty fun. 😀⚾️🏆❤️

There’s nothing better.

We were going to eat something at this afternoon’s final Reds game but the lines for food were really long. And nothing sounded better to us than an NYPD cheese pizza…

So when we got home, we ordered another NYPD cheese pizza and BBQ boneless wings. And they were delicious! 😀🍕🐔❤️

The final Reds game of the 2018 season.

Today was the final Reds baseball game of their 2018 season. We ducked in one of the side gates because the main gate at Crosley Terrace was just a sea of people. Everyone must have had the exact same thought as us, “Shoot, it’s the last Reds game of the season. We better go to the game today.” There were a bunch more people at this afternoon’s game than there were on Wednesday night. We headed straight upstairs to the terraces on the Fioptics District…

And then after a bit, we headed down to the terrace by the Bowtie Bar…

We got to see the final live mascot race…

Near the end of the game, Tucker Barnhart came in to play first base…

And the Reds lost 6-5 to the Pirates in the tenth inning…

After the ballgame, we went to hang out at the Fox Sports Ohio condominium…

It was another great season of Reds baseball. And where they might not have had the best season, they are always fun to watch. It’s going to be weird next week when we get home from work and try to find something to watch on tv. During baseball season, it’s a no-brainer. Just turn on the Reds game. I’m going to miss watching them. Hopefully next summer, we’ll be able to make it to more than just three games. Thank you Reds baseball for once again being the soundtrack of my summer. 😀⚾️❤️😍

How many days until pitchers and catchers report for spring training?
