#TBT Pause for paws.

I really love this photo of Milan. It looks so old-timey like something out of the old west. Milan was so awesome. Always remembering the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

One of our laziest Sundays.

We didn’t do much today. We were in full-blown recovery mode from our trip to Dallas. This morning was very foggy…

We watched Arsenal win 2-1 over Bournemouth and then we walked to Django Western Taco for brunch…

We started with some of Django’s chips and salsa, and we shared the biscuits and chorizo gravy with a fried egg and Chef Josh’s famous tater tot casserole…

Later, we picked up Mack from The Pet Spot in Norwood…

I think he was pretty happy to be home. He slept for most of the evening. We’ll go pick up Oscar this week. He’s staying with his grandma. And he loves his grandma. Later, we ordered an NYPD pizza because we’d been craving an NYPD cheese pizza and we really need to go to the grocery store soon…

We watched some football and that was pretty much our very lazy Sunday. 😀🐾🍕❤️

Checking in on the OscarCams.

We left for Dallas this morning. And Geri came to pick up Oscar…

Life advice: Find someone who loves you the way Oscar loves his grandma. 😀🐾❤️

Checking in on the OscarCams.

On our way home, we checked in on the OscarCams to see what the parking was looking like on our street. And then we looked to see what Oscar was doing…

He was just hanging out on the arm of the sofa like it was no big deal. It probably isn’t the most comfortable spot in our house. He’s a silly little dog. 😀🐾❤️

And I should probably figure out how to adjust the time on the OscarCams for daylight savings time.

Timehopping.

Looking down our hallway at the fam…

Thanks, Timehop! 😀🦕❤️

Oscar is a creeper.

When you’re laying in bed and you feel beady little eyes boring into your head…

Oscar is a creeper. 😀🐾❤️

Pumpkin patch pop-up.

When we were out walking the dogs this morning, we saw that the stop sign at the end of our street had a precarious lean to it like someone tried to push it over…

I put in a service request to have it repaired on the FixItCincy app. So hopefully, it’ll get fixed soon. When we got to the top of the hill at the end of our street, there was a pop-up pumpkin patch in front of the Montessori school…

and of course, Mack had to sniff each and every pumpkin…

😀🎃🐾❤️

We got to watch this adorable puppy.

We got to watch our friend, Robert’s puppy for the day while he was out of town…

His name is Sabot. Our friends, Chris and Tayler were watching him. But they were out of town at the Kansas City Chiefs game so we picked up Sabot from their house in Northside after last night’s FC|C match, and he hung out with us all day today. Mack and Sabot became best friends really fast…

They would play and wrestle go outside and Sabot would get worn out pretty quick. And then he’d just hop up on the sofa and crash out…

Oscar was not a fan of the puppy. But he’s not really a fan of Mack for that matter…

The puppy liked going on walks with Mack…

And then we went upstairs and he crashed out…

He was so cute and so good. We actually thought about getting a puppy for a little bit but then we decided that two dogs are plenty for us right now. But we’d be willing to watch Sabot anytime. 😀🐾❤️

#TBT Pause for paws.

These photos of Oscar popped up in my Timehop today…

He’s such a silly and handsome little guy. 😀🦕🐾❤️

And when we came back from walking the dogs this morning, somehow the cat was almost entirely under the covers…

I don’t if she was there the whole time or if I covered her up on accident or if she climbed up there and worked her way under the covers. But it was pretty cute.

Three years ago.

Our beloved bud dog passed away three years ago this evening…

It’s really hard to believe Milan’s been gone for three years now. There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where we still haven’t missed him in bunches even after all this time. He’s always in our thoughts each and every day. And I’m so very thankful that a couple of bud dog photos show up in my Timehop almost every morning…

All of us still miss you so very much, Milan. You helped me through one of the roughest patches of my life and helped me come out the other side. You were always there for me.  Always there with me. You were the best friend I’ve ever had. And it breaks our hearts that you’re not still here with us now. You would have loved our big house with our little backyard and our neighborhood with all the walks we take through the woods. You were definitely taken from us far too soon. 😦

Rest in peace, bud dog. I will always love you and miss you
more than words could ever possibly say. 😢
