Wild Card weekend.

We went down to Higher Gravity to watch the Titans versus Chiefs Wild Card football game with our friends Chris and Tayler. They are big Chiefs fans. It was a pretty good game but unfortunately, the Chiefs managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. While we were watching the game, we shared this ridiculously huge 22-inch pepperoni pizza from Chameleon…

It was a really, really good pie. After the game, Wild Card weekend started to get a bit wild. There were some consolation shots…

And after that, there was a contest between shotgunning versus chugging a beer…

We always have a really good time at Higher Gravity. And Northside has some of the best pizza around. 🏈🍕🍻❤️

Our Christmas carnage.

We set our little Christmas tree out by the curb this morning. It was an awesome little tree that we loved very dearly during the holiday season…

We set our tree out a little earlier than I would have liked. But last year we missed the tree pick-up days and our tree hung out on the side of our house all year because we couldn’t be bothered to chop it up…

It was kind of sad when I came home from work this evening and they were no longer on the curb. 😀🎄❤️

Tonight, Genifer made another one of the delicious Kroger Prep+Pared Meal Kits for dinner. This one was Colorado-Style Pork Chili Verde…

It was really delicious. And there was so much pork in the chili. It was really good stuff! Just like all the others that we tried. 😀🍜❤️

Super Wolf Moon.

Tonight, there was something called a Super Wolf Moon. CNN says the phenomenon of a “supermoon” occurs when the moon becomes full on the same day it reaches the point in the moon’s elliptical orbit when it is closest to Earth, also known as its perigee.

And according to @NASAMoon…

Tonight’s supermoon will appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter than the July 27 full Moon, occurring at the farthest point in the Moon’s orbit.

I guess I didn’t take any photos of the supermoon back on July 27th. But this Super Wolf Moon was pretty spectacular…

If you missed tonight’s Super Wolf Moon, don’t worry there’s another full moon at the end of the month. When two full Moons occur within one calendar month, the second is called a Blue Moon. And one will occur on January 31st. 😀🌕🌝❤️
