Pause for paws.

I think this is my favorite photo I ever took of my seemingly immortal cat…

Thanks for the good memories, Timehop. 😀🐾🐱❤️

Celebrating Genifer’s birthday.

I met Genifer at Higher Gravity again this evening so we could celebrate her birthday. Our friends Cory and Amy met up with us with their sleepy kiddos…

Higher Gravity was doing a fun little tasting tonight. They were having a side by side tasting of Founder’s KBS and CBS. Chef Josh from Django Western Taco was at Higher Gravity pairing the beers with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast Tacos with Maple Pork Belly as well as Django guac and salsa. The tacos were pretty dang awesome and so were the beers. Both were gone before I even thought about taking a photo. Speaking of awesome, we also all shared a huge Chameleon Pizza

Eventually, word got out that it was Genifer’s birthday, and the guys at Higher Gravity gave her a bottle of Southern Tier’s Monstrosus for her special day…

That was super nice of them…

It was another really fun evening! But we always have a really good time at Higher Gravity. 😀🌮🍕🍻🍾❤️

My 5-year anniversary lunch.

There was a lunch at Arnold’s to celebrate my 5-year anniversary today. I had a burger and a Braxton Graeter’s Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout

It’s nice to feel appreciated. 😀🍔🖐️🍾❤️

Seen and noted.

On our way home from Higher Gravity, I saw the remnants of what looked to be a bear sticker on one of the windows of the empty retail space at the Gantry…

I thought it was kind of neat. And I like bears. 😀🐻❤️

Higher Gravity: Meet the Brewery.

Today was gorgeous. The sun was out and the temperature was in the mid-70s. Higher Gravity had their garage door open for the first time this year. So we decided to stop in for their Thursday night Meet the Brewery featuring three beers from Ballast Point…

They had Ballast Point’s Aloha Sculpin IPA with notes of mango, pineapple and guava, Sour Wench Blackberry Ale and Willet Sea Monster Bourbon Barrel Imperial Stout. We also had a taster of Founder’s Oatmeal Stout on nitro…

We made Higher Gravity’s Instagram stories…

It was such a pretty evening…

The Meet the Brewery events at Higher Gravity are always tasty and fun. 😀🍺🍻❤

Seen and noted.

I was running a couple of errands around downtown this morning. And on my way back to the office, I saw this little guy in the crosswalk at Sixth and Walnut Streets…

I wonder what his story is? It reminds me a lot of the Toynbee Tiles around downtown. I’ll have to keep an eye out to try to see if there are any more of them around downtown Cincinnati. 😀🏙️🤖❤️

Chameleon pizza.

We ordered another delicious half & half pizza from Chameleon for dinner tonight…

And we had to get some Nono BBQ boneless wings as well…

I love Chameleon’s pizza and wings. We have some really great pizza options in our neighborhood. And I really love that.  😀🍕🐔❤️

Celebrating big wins.

We celebrated a big win this afternoon at Deskey…

Taken with Instagram. 😀🍾❤️

Bakersfield Taco Bar.

An incredible taco bar from Bakersfield showed up in one of the conference rooms at work today. There were big tubs of short rib and pollo rojo and Bakersfield queso…

Look at all that delicious Bakersfield salsa…

And of course, there were tubs of Bakersfield’s famous guacamole…

It made for a very unexpected but pretty terrific lunch…

I wish stuff like this would show up in the office every day. 😀🌮❤️

Good morning from Northside.

You forget just how pretty the mornings are when the sun is actually out…

It was amazing how different the sky was when we were just about to head out…

What a beautiful way to start the day. Good morning from Northside. 😀🌄❤️
