My last physical therapy.

Today was my final session physical therapy for my right hip…

The physical therapy has made such a huge difference. My hip feels so much better than it has in a really long time. And the best part is my hip doesn’t hurt anymore. I can’t wait to start the process all over again with my left hip. 😀🏥❤️

Good evening from Northside.

Good evening from Northside. 😀🌆❤️

It’s what’s for dinner.

Tonight, Genifer made another Kroger Prep+Pared Meal Kits for dinner tonight. This meal kit was Crispy Pork Chops with blistered tomatoes and creamed spinach…

And it was another amazing meal…

I haven’t had a pork chop that good in a long time. The Kroger Prep+Pared meals are so delicious. 😀🐷❤️

Seen and noted.

Check out this old car parked outside of our office when I was leaving to go to my second to last physical therapy this afternoon…

It had the old rumble seat and all that. Pretty neat. 😀🚗❤️

Opening Day Parade Party.

They’ve kind of made a mess of the start of the baseball season this year. The season officially started last Thursday but the first Reds game was rained out and played on Friday. In Cincinnati, there’s always the big Findlay Market Opening Day Parade before the first game and it’s always been on Opening Day for as long as I long as I’ve lived in Cincinnati. But this year’s parade wasn’t until today. Because I guess the parade has to be on a Monday for some reason. Today, we also had our annual Opening Day Party at work. There was big grill out with all sorts of food…

And we played a bunch of different games like pin the baseball on the catcher…

It made for a very fun afternoon at work celebrating the return of another baseball season to Cincinnati. 😀⚾️🍔🌭❤️

Sunday grilling.

We put together our new grill a week ago today, and we grilled three times during the first week of having our new grill. Today, we really gave our new grill a workout…

We fired it up for some steaks and baked potatoes…

And we also tossed on some chicken breasts and hot dogs for lunches this week…

We warmed up some leftover mac & cheese from The Eagle, and it was awesome…

It was another amazing meal off the grill. We love to #SlowDownAndGrill. 🙂

Six years ago today.

Today is the six-year anniversary of our very first date. On our first date, we went to a Reds game. And afterwards, we went to see a couple of our favorite bands play. It was a great night. And the best first date ever. Unfortunately, this year both the Reds and FC Cincinnati were out of town the whole weekend of our anniversary.

But it’s been another wonderful year full of amazing dates and fun adventures. We can’t wait to see what the next year brings.

I love you, baby! 😀 ❤️

FC Cincinnati x Second Place.

After Brink, we rode the bus from up in College Hill back down Hamilton Avenue into Northside and stopped into Second Place to watch our FC Cincinnati play away to Bethlehem Steel for the second time the last five matches. It doesn’t make any sense but whatever. FC Cincinnati away matches are more fun with a couple of Second Place’s bourbon slushes…

FC Cincinnati lost 1-0 to Bethlehem Steel. And after today’s match, an FC|C player has been sent off after receiving a straight red card in four of the last five matches. It’s been ridiculous and pretty unbelievable. But at least, the slushies were delicious. :/

Brink Brewing Co.

This afternoon we rode the 17 bus up Hamilton Avenue into College Hill to check out the new Brink Brewing Company…

We got a flight and headed outside to Brink’s awesome back patio…

We tried their Debbie Jean Blonde Ale, Buona Sarah Saison, Even Flow Brink Berry Wheat, Moozie Milk Stout, Peach Cobbler Moozie Milk Stout and not pictured was the award-winning Brink English Brown Ale…

I really like Brink’s logo…

The Peach Cobbler Moozie Milk Stout was outstanding…

Piggin-N-Grinnin BBQ was serving up BBQ out on Brink’s patio as well…

I got the brisket sammich, and we shared some mac and cheese and Grippos BBQ chips…

And Genifer got a pulled pork sammich…

It was some really delicious BBQ! And some delicious beers. We really enjoyed the Even Flow Brink Berry Wheat…

GIANT SCRABBLE!

It was a bunch of fun hanging out at Brink. And it was so easy just to hop on the bus and we were there in no time. We’ll definitely be back very soon! 🙂

Deskey details.

The week started off with two ginormous Deskey donuts from Holtman’s celebrating a new team member joining the fam!

We were super busy this week so one day they brought us all Eli’s BBQ for lunch…

And chicken sammiches with mac&cheese from The Eagle

And there was also an entire catered lunch from Iris Book Cafe but I forgot to get a photo of them. It was pretty nice to not have to worry about lunch for a few days.
Who has it better than us?
