Downtown details.

Sixth Street in downtown Cincinnati…

Constructing Cincinnati.

The parking garage at the corner of Sycamore and Seventh Streets continues to rise

It’s already a massive structure. I wonder how high the actual parking structure is going to rise? And then, there’ll be an apartment building on top of the parking structure. YIKES! 🙂

Reds baseball game #5.

On a whim, we went to our fifth Reds game of the season tonight…

The Reds were playing the Pirates again…

There were a couple of plays that went under review…

This play at second ended up in the Pirates manager, Clint Hurdle and Starling Marte both getting tossed out of the game…

Our friends Scott and Cathy were at tonight’s game as well…

Bryan Price wasn’t happy about Oldendorf getting tossed after the Reds pitchers combined to plunk four Pirate batters…

The Reds led most of the game that featured five home runs (one by Jay Bruce), six hit batters and four ejections. But trailed 5-4 going into the ninth. Joey Votto came on to work some magic for the Reds and reached base on a walk…

But there wouldn’t be any late game heroics tonight for the Reds. And the game would go on to finish 5-4 Pirates

It was fun to get in another Reds game before they head out for a five-game road trip. 🙂

We’re starting to get pretty tired of all this rain everyday…

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day, moms! Thank you for all you done for us and continue to do! We love you so much! 🙂

Nation Kitchen+The Derby.

We went to Nation Kitchen & Bar in Pendleton for a late lunch this afternoon…

We shared their fried bologna sammich, a grilled cheeses and some loaded tots…

Nation’s fried bologna sammich is just out of this world…

Afterwards, we hung around to watch The Derby and have a mint julep…

It was a fun afternoon. Awful lot of hype and build-up for such a short race. On the way home, we saw this city squirrel…

Pause for paws.

Oscar was anxiously waiting for Genifer to emerge from Starbucks with our Saturday morning coffees. ☕ Taken with Instagram. 🙂

Happiest hours.

After work this evening, we stopped by Igby’s for some more happiest hours

Thanks to JJVE for gift card that continually funds our 4EG happiest hours! 🙂

Pause for paws.

Last night, FC Cincinnati played away at Orlando City B. The match was supposed to start at 7:30pm. But kickoff was delayed by weather four times. We weren’t terribly upset by the weather delays because it gave up time to run to Dairy Queen in Northern Kentucky to grab some Blizzards before the match started. Finally, the match actually started at 9:45pm. And as loyal supporters of our home town team, we stayed up late and watched the entire match, and we were rewarded with a 3-1 FC|C win! But this morning, we’re feeling a bit like Oscar…

All we want this morning is some more sleep. Taken with Instagram. 🙂

It’s what’s for dinner.

Genifer made dinner in the slow cooker tonight…

She made BBQ Pork chops topped with cheese & bacon with BBQ potatoes & onions and the side that goes with everything, garlic bread…

And it was delicious! Genifer does a pretty terrific job in the kitchen! 🙂
