Winter wonderland.

We woke up to a couple inches of snow covering Northside…

Looking out one of the windows in our office, our backyard looked really pretty when it was all covered in snow…

We took the dogs out on a walk in the snow before we left for work…

It’s still nothing compared to what they are getting out east but, it’s almost as much snow as we got all winter. And now it’s spring. But this isn’t anything new, we got snow in March last year too. Now that my hip is getting better, we really need to invest in a couple of nice sleds. 😀🌨️❄️❤️

Hello Spring!

Today is the first day of Spring! So why is so cold? And rainy and grey?

Free LaRosa’s pizza!

This afternoon we drove to LaRosa’s in St. Bernard to redeem our first free LaRosa’s pizzas of the 2017 Reds baseball season from their 13 strikeouts on Opening Night

Free pizza is delicious! A big thanks to LaRosa’s and the Reds for continuing #Ks4Slices for another season of Reds baseball! 🍕👍❤⚾🍕

We brought our pizzas home and ate them while watched FC Cincinnati lose 2-0 on the road to Bethlehem Steel. Other than the FC Cincy lost, it was a very relaxing Sunday. 🙂

Pause for paws.

Oscar was enjoying the beautiful weather in our backyard this afternoon…

It was such a gorgeous day. We spent a lot of time enjoying the weather out on our back patio as well. 🙂

Spring Fling.

We had Genifer’s family over for a Spring Fling party to celebrate a bunch of March and April birthdays. It was a great evening filled with family, fun and lotsa food…

Good evening from Northside.

We mowed our little backyard for the first time this spring…

And then we sat out on our back patio and watched the sunset…

It was another very pretty evening in Northside. 🙂

Reds Opening Night 2017.

Today is National Walking Day! Even though the forecast called for lotsa rain, I really couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate than taking a walk down to Great American Ball Park for Reds Opening Night 2017! We parked by Lytle Park and walked down to the game…

I’ve been to every single Opening Night since 2010, and Genifer and I have been to every Opening Night together since 2012…

One of GABP’s new fatures this year is the Teppanyaki Grill featuring a $15 Bahn Mi sammich and a $20 Lobster Tail. Lobster Tail is baseball food right?

Also new is a Cheetos Popcorn stand. You can have Cheetos right in your popcorn…

The Fox Sports Ohio condominium was packed…

Another new food offering is Keystone mac & cheese…

A rainbow started to appear on the other side of the river…

Votto went yard to give the Reds a 1-0 lead…

Then Adam Duvall doubled. And Zack Cozart singled in DuvAll-Star to give the Reds a 2-0 lead. The Reds Brandon Finnegan tossed 7 innings of 1 hit ball with 9 Ks

Michael Lorenzen came into the game to get us strikeout number 10…

And NUMBER 11!

AND THAT MEANS…

Raisel Iglesias came in to pitch the ninth and try to seal the deal for the Reds…

And this one belongs to the…

The final out of the game was a Philly getting caught stealing at second. But then the play was reviewed and the runner was called safe at second…

But it just gave Rasiel Igelsias the chance to notch another strikeout instead. BOOM!
AND THIS ONE BELONGS TO THE REDS!

What an incredible Reds Opening Night! The Reds won, Brandon Finnegan tossed seven fierce innings giving up just 1 hit with 9 Ks, Votto went yard, we get free Larosas pizza from the Reds 13 Ks, we got a free Reds 2017-18 calendar, the rain stayed away from the most part and we saw a rainbow! That’s what I call a great Opening Night!
⛈⚾❤🍕🍕🌧🌈👍💯 🙂

The City Flea: June edition.

We missed The City Flea’s first appearance of the season back in May due to the weather being so unpredictable. I don’t think it ever actually rained. But it looked like it was about to starting pouring at any second all day long. Today was a really warm one with nothing sun and blue skies as far as the eye could see. So we headed up to Washington Park for the June edition of The City Flea

I love each and every one of these hand-knit critters from For Lula Girl

And their yarn-bombed bicycle was really pretty cool too…

Our backyard is definitely going to need some garden gnomes once we get moved in…

Totes McGoats…

It’s always for fun to wander through The City Flea. And this one was no exception. 🙂
