Constructing Northside, part two.

The Cincinnati Water construction crew arrived on our street early this morning…

Good morning from Northside…

I grabbed a lot of image captures of all the construction from our third-floor WyzeCam…

Suddenly, the skies opened up and there was a torrential downpour…

And just as suddenly as it started raining, it stopped raining…

And that was pretty much it for today…

I also took these time-lapse videos from our third-floor WyzeCam as well…

When we were on our evening dog walk, we saw this machine…

Good evening from Northside…

They changed the signs…

It looks like they’re going to working on our street next week too. They left this pile of bricks on the side of street. They were the original cobblestone bricks from our street that were still under the asphalt. We snagged a bunch of them…

We’ll find something to use them for in our backyard. It’ll be really neat to have the original bricks from our street in our backyard. 😬🚧💦❤️

Constructing Northside.

The sign said they were supposed to start construction work on our street today. They city has been replacing the water mains on our side of Northside. Pretty much most everyone moved their cars up to the end of the street in anticipation of the work…

Good morning from Northside…

There were a couple of stragglers still parked on our street this morning…

Mid-morning, we were still waiting for the work to begin…

Finally mid-afternoon, a guy was walking a pavement cutter down our street…

And that was pretty much all the action that we saw all day. Come to find out that they were working at the very South end of our street…

Good evening from Northside…

They have a lot of work to do if they’re going to be done by Friday. 😬🚧💦❤️

It’s a sign.

Tomorrow, they’re going to start working on replacing the water main on our street…

We set up one of our extra WyzeCams in our second-floor window looking out towards our backyard…

Our backyard is so pretty and peaceful, especially in the morning…

Hello from Northside.

I can’t believe it’s already June 1st.

Good morning from Northside…

It looked like it was going to be a very pretty day. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky.

People at the end of the street were having a tree removed this afternoon…

There’s where the tree used to be…

Now, there are no trees at the of the our street. It looks weird. Just kind of empty.

And they ground up the tree trunk with all the limbs and added it to the giant wood chip at the end of the street…

Hooray for more wood chips. 😐 And good evening from Northside…

It turned out to be a very beautiful day. 😀🌄🌳💀❤️

We grilled up a whole bunch of goodness this afternoon…

And Genifer made a delicious watermelon and feta salad…

One year ago today, I had my second hip replacement surgery…

Two years ago, USL FC Cincinnati defeated MLS Chicago Fire in the US Open Cup…

And three years ago, we moved into our house in Northside…
