We dropped off all of our tax stuff to our accountant this morning…

Running some errands on the Westside.
We ran some errands over on the Westside of Cincinnati this afternoon. Genifer got a new Fitbit Versa from Best Buy. We stopped to say hi to Genifer’s brother’s family. And we stopped at Aldi for some groceries…
It’s the first time I’ve ever been to an Aldi. I was kind of surprised how much good stuff they had at Aldi. We picked up a few things for the week including this oven pizza…
For just an oven pizza, it was really good. Who knew Aldi had such good stuff? 😀🍕❤️

We always chuckle at this flower pot family whenever we head over to the Westside…
Every time was pass it, it’s always different. But it’s always equally elaborate. We always wonder what the backstory is and how it all got started. No matter what the story is, it always entertains us. And gives us a good chuckle as we shake our heads as drive by. Oh, the things people do to entertain themselves. 😀🌻❤️

We had to run some more errands this afternoon and we found ourselves once again on the Westside of Cincinnati. And that was cool with us because we got to catch a little bit of Genifer’s nephew’s baseball game…

Stuffed Mushroom Saturday.
We ran a bunch of errands today. We also took Genifer’s nephew out to dinner for his birthday. But the highlight of the day was stopping at Longhorn for lunch because they had this stuffed mushroom appetizer that was out of this world…

Some Saturday errands.
We ran some errands late this morning into the early afternoon. We ran over to the Westside to sign our taxes and get those in the mail. We’re happy to report that we’re looking forward to a pretty nice return from the federal but we owed a little to the state. So we’re happy that taxes are done for another year. From there, we ran over to Tire Discounters on North Bend Road. We’ve been having a slow leak in our passenger rear tire. It’s never gone completely flat because we kept putting air in it. But then a few days later the tire pressure warning light would come back on. While we were waiting for our tire to be fixed, we spied a Skyline down the street. So instead of waiting in the tire waiting room, we walked down the road and had lunch at Skyline! Genifer and I haven’t had Skyline together in forever…
While we were at Skyline, Genifer found this sticker in Swarm that we didn’t know existed. And it’s funny because well, it’s named Oscar…
Mmmm, cheese coneys…
The tire place said your rear tires had near bald spots on them so we had the rear tires replaced. So now we have four brand new tires on our car and we should be good on the whole tire thing for a while again…
Errands aren’t that much fun. Buying new tires isn’t that much fun either. But the Skyline was outstanding. 😀🧀🌭❤️

A lazy Sunday.
We had a pretty lazy Sunday. We ran a few errands this morning and on the way home, we stopped on the Westside to get some amazing, delicious Jet’s Pizza…
We used to Jet’s all the time when we live downtown. But they don’t deliver to Northside. So now, it’s really a special treat when we get to bring home the goodness that is Jet’s pizza. Just look at all that deep dish deliciousness…
After we were stuffed full of yummy Jet’s, we took Oscar on a couple of walks but mostly we just laid around the rest of the afternoon and watched movies…
It was a pretty relaxing Sunday. 😀🍕❤️

Cabana on the River.
After Genifer’s nephew’s football games, we stopped for lunch with Cleve and Alyssa at Cabana on the River…
I ordered the jumbo shrimp dinner and Genifer had the turkey burger with avocado…
Great stuff. Also great were the views of the Ohio River…
It was a fun afternoon. And it’s always great to hang out with Cleve and Alyssa. 🙂

St. Antoninus football.
This afternoon we drove out to the westside to watch Genifer’s nephew’s St. Antoninus football games…
Liam’s game was first. He’s number 53 right there…
And then it was time for Aiden’s game…
He’s number 95 over there on the right…
It was beautiful afternoon for some great St. Antoninus football! 🙂
