It was outstanding; an instant classic! It was one of my favorite dishes she’s ever made! And I hope she makes this one over and over and over again. YUM! 😀🍜❤️

A Second Place celebration.
This evening we stopped at Second Place to catch the end of happy hour to celebrate my being done with my physical therapy…
It’s been a little while since we were last at Second Place. It was just too far for us to walk in the cold for the most of the winter…
Second Place’s happy hour includes $1 off slushes…
And happy hour included half-price burgers as well!
The burgers were really delicious and the fries were outstanding!
It was great to get back to Second Place. It had been way too long since our last bourbon slushies. And I see many more of their terrific burgers in our future as the weather starts getting warmer and warmer. 😀🥃🍔🍟❤️

My last physical therapy.
Today was my final session physical therapy for my right hip…
The physical therapy has made such a huge difference. My hip feels so much better than it has in a really long time. And the best part is my hip doesn’t hurt anymore. I can’t wait to start the process all over again with my left hip. 😀🏥❤️

Tonight, Genifer made another Kroger Prep+Pared Meal Kits for dinner tonight. This meal kit was Crispy Pork Chops with blistered tomatoes and creamed spinach…
And it was another amazing meal…
I haven’t had a pork chop that good in a long time. The Kroger Prep+Pared meals are so delicious. 😀🐷❤️

Opening Day Parade Party.
They’ve kind of made a mess of the start of the baseball season this year. The season officially started last Thursday but the first Reds game was rained out and played on Friday. In Cincinnati, there’s always the big Findlay Market Opening Day Parade before the first game and it’s always been on Opening Day for as long as I long as I’ve lived in Cincinnati. But this year’s parade wasn’t until today. Because I guess the parade has to be on a Monday for some reason. Today, we also had our annual Opening Day Party at work. There was big grill out with all sorts of food…
And we played a bunch of different games like pin the baseball on the catcher…
It made for a very fun afternoon at work celebrating the return of another baseball season to Cincinnati. 😀⚾️🍔🌭❤️

I hit another new personal best on my Swarm this week. It’s funny that not too long ago my goal was to someday hit 2000 points in a week. And then my goal was to someday surpass 3000 points in a week sometime in the not too distant future. And last week, I actually went over the 3000 point mark for the very first time on my Swarm…

Happy Easter!
HAPPY EASTER! We had a very nice Easter Sunday. Genifer made me this really sweet little Easter basket…
We got a wonderful Easter card from JJVE with some terrific artwork from Violette…

Later, Genifer’s mom came over and my parents came down from Michigan for the night on their way out east to do some antiquing and they brought some delicious Pizza King pizzas down with them…
YUM! Pizza King pizza is sooo good. My mom also brought down a very delicious cherry cobbler. It was a very nice surprise to get to spend Easter evening with my parents and Genifer’s mom. It turned out to be a really nice Easter. 😀🐰🐣❤️
On a personal note, I need to take more photos when people come over or when we do things with other people. I need to make more of a conscious effort to make sure I take at least one photo of everyone together. I really need to do a better job of that. I just 😀📷❤️
