Meet the Brewery: Goodwood

Tonight’s edition of Higher Gravity‘s Meet the Brewery featured a couple of beers from Goodwood Brewing Co. out of Louisville. They had Goodwood’s Notorious ESB and Goodwood Bourbon Barrel Stout on tap which were served in super fancy Goodwood keg glasses…

Both beers were really tasty. Genifer’s stout had a creepy little ghost face in it…

Also kind of creepy was the sky this evening…

We hung out for a little bit. Then we picked up some delicious Chameleon pizza and incredible Nono BBQ wings and headed for home…

It was another fun Meet the Brewery night at HG! 😃🍺🍻🍕❤️

Tag! You’re it.

Tag! You’re it. Seen and noted in Northside. 😀🖌️❤️

Goodnight moon.

The beautiful moon we saw downtown still looked every bit as pretty in Northside…

It was a very Halloweeny looking moon. Goodnight moon. 😀🌕❤️

Back to Great American Ball Park.

It’s hard to believe that we’re in the final week of the 2018 Reds baseball season. It’s also really hard to believe that we only made it out to Great American Ball Park once this season. We’ve watched almost every Reds game on TV. But between my surgeries and all the FC Cincinnati soccer games, we only took in one Reds game all the way back at the beginning of the season. Tonight, our Redlegs were playing the Kansas City Royals and we actually managed to get down to the ballpark to take in our second Reds game of the season…

This was our first time passing through a metal detector since I’ve had both of my hips replaced. When we were at the Reds back in April, I had only one replaced hip. And it didn’t set off the metal detector. But both hips set the metal detector right off. Twice. I had to explain that I had both hips replaced and then get wanded. So there’s something to look forward to for the rest of my life. It was great to finally be back at GABP…

We headed up to the new Budweiser bowtie deck…

BARGE!

We headed over to our seat in the Fioptics District to chase the last rays of sun…

I wonder how many free pizzas LaRosa’s gave away this season when the Reds pitchers tallied 11 strikeouts in a game. I’m guessing not that many…

We walked over to the gap…

I love Reds game where you feel like you have GABP all to yourself…

And then we moved down to the lower deck down the third base line…

The Reds lost. But it was great to finally be back at GABP again. It’s still one of my very favorite places in the whole world. When we were walking back to the car, check out how gorgeous the moon was above Lytle Park…

😀⚾️🌕❤️

Look up in the sky.

There have been some just gorgeous clouds lately hovering over Northside…

We saw these clouds this morning. Oh, and good morning from Northside. 😀☁️❤️

#TBT Pause for paws.

A photo of our seemingly immortal cat popped up in my Timehop recently…

And I received a couple of Oscar being adorable…

And there were a bunch of the bud dog, Milan…

Always remembering the good times with the bud dog. 😀🐾🦕❤️

Good evening from Northside.

It was another rainy night in Northside. But this evening the sky was very orange…

It was really pretty compared to last night’s just plain grey. 😀☁️❤️

Oscar says hello.

Hi Oscar. 😀🐾❤️

Over 400 with a single check-in.

This morning when I was doing my normal morning check-ins on Swarm, I racked up my most points from a single check-in…

I’ve had a 1400 point day on Swarm. But I’ve never tallied over 400 points from a single check-in before. I still really love my check-ins on Swarm! 😀⭐️❤️

It was a rainy Monday evening too.

It was a rainy, grey Monday evening in Northside too. But I love looking at the clouds from atop the hill at the end of our street, even if they’re rainy, grey clouds. 😀☁️❤️
