Today was National Cheese Pizza Day! So we ordered a cheese pizza from NYPD…
We’ve really been into NYPD’s cheese pizza lately. So it was a pretty good excuse to go ahead and order another one. Not that we ever really need an excuse. 😀🍕❤️

Happy Labor Day!
Happy Labor Day! We didn’t do much of anything all day except for fire up the grill…
We had a bunch of Cheddarwurst, Queen City Sausages and leftover veggie burgers…
Oscar made sure he was out in the backyard supervising the grilling…

Northside Sunday.
This afternoon we walked down Hamilton Avenue to met Randy, Allison and Genifer’s nephews at Arcade Legacy Bar Edition...
It’s usually only open to adults. But on Sundays, they open it up to allows kids as well…
I’ve never heard of Mad Tree’s Dreamsicle before but it’s pretty good stuff…
We ordered some snacks. I didn’t expect the nachos to be so huge…
After playing video games until our fingers hurt, we walked over to Boswell’s Alley to get a bite to eat out on their patio…
I love that Boswell’s always has a riddle up on their blackboard…
It was another great Sunday in Northside. 😀🍺👽❤️

FC Cincinnati versus Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
IT’S FC CINCINNATI MATCHDAY 15! There was an odd 4 o’clock kickoff for today’s FC Cincinnati match as they were playing host to Pittsburgh Riverhounds…
And it was kind of a chilly, rainy afternoon…
But none of that mattered because we got new FC|C tall boy coozies…
We waited for the match to start and the drizzle to end under an overhang at the east end of Nippert Stadium by The Bailey…
O say can you see…
Here we go…
Pittsburgh scored in just the second minute…
I got up to go to the restroom and wouldn’t you know it… FC Cincinnati pulled level…
And that’s the way it would stay at halftime…
And the second half was about to get underway…
Djiby made an appearance…
Despite the rain and the odd start time, there was another great crowd…
After the match, we took an Uber back to Northside and stopped into Higher Gravity for a little taster flight before header home…
FC Cincinnati’s final home match of the regular season will take place on September 16th against New York Red Bulls 2. And we’ll see you there! 😀⚽️❤️

USMNT x NYPD.
This evening we ordered some delicious NYPD pizza and then watched the USMNT lose 2-0 to Costa Rica in World Cup qualifying…
The match was very disappointing. But the pizza was really, really good. 😐⚽️🍕❤️

OrderUp: Chicago Gyros and Dogs.
I love me some gyros. But I don’t eat nearly enough of them, mainly because there aren’t that many gyro places around. When I ride my 17 metro bus from work home every night, it goes right by a place in Clifton called Chicago Gyros and Dogs. So it was kind of surprising that we’ve never checked them out. Tonight, we tapped OrderUp to bring us some much-needed gyros…
Genifer ordered the chicken gyro stuffed full of grilled chicken, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and taz sauce…
I ordered just the classic gyro loaded with tons of delicious gyro meat, tomatoes, onions and taz sauce…
And I had to try something Chicago Gyros and Dogs called “The Dougie.” It’s gyro meat on a grilled cheeses…
Their gyros aren’t the most beautiful things in the world. And it’s pretty hard to get a really nice, appetizing photo of a gyro. But there was so much meat on those gyros that they were also pretty difficult to pick up and eat. But they sure were delicious. Next time we have a craving for gyros, we know where to turn. 😀🥙❤️
