I had physical therapy this morning and afterwards, my hips felt a lot better…
My hips always feel better after physical therapy. Unfortunately, I only have a few more sessions of physical therapy. 😀🏥❤️

This evening we saw this sticker on the back of a car on our street…
We thought for certain that Warsaw Falcons were a sports team for some sorts. But come to find out that Warsaw Falcons are, in fact, a band that has performed both locally and regionally over 20 years. Who knew? 😀🐦❤️

My six-week post-op checkup.
Today, I had the six-week post-op check-up after my left hip revision surgery. The appointment was initially scheduled for next week but I called to have it moved it up to this morning.
Yesterday, I was experiencing a fair amount of discomfort in my right hip. I don’t know how to describe it other than it just didn’t feel right. It didn’t hurt at all. It was just no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get comfortable when I was sitting at work. It started to feel better once I got home and could lay down.
But better safe than sorry. They took X-rays of both hips together and then just the right one that was causing discomfort…
My doctor said that both hips looked great. They said that the liner slip that caused the revision surgery was very rare. The odds of it happening again or something happening to the other hip were astronomical. And that the discomfort I was experiencing was most likely a muscle issue that may arise from time to time. I’m still trying to figure out what the new normal is for me now. 😀🏥❤️

Northside Sunday.
This afternoon, we stopped at Melt for a late Brunch…
Afterwards, we stopped by Urban Artifact…
Urban Artifact’s Bewilderfest was Friday and Saturday. We wanted to see what was left on tap from their big celebration. Last year, they had a bunch of crazy beers…
We ordered a flight plus one…
And then we shared The Tumi and Lemon Fennel Salad…
Urban Artifact made three barrel-aged variant bombers for their Bewilderfest: Beipiaosurus Boysenberry Sour, Dimetrodon Raspberry Sour and Stegosaurus Montmorency Cherry Sour…
We didn’t try them. I bet they were all delicious but they were a little on the pricey side. However, they had stickers of all the different dinosaurs from the labels, and they gave us an entire set of them for free…
And after I took the photo of my new dinosaurs stickers…
It was another fun Sunday in Northside. 😀🍺🦖❤️

A flight at Brink.
After lunch at Freddy’s, we stopped at Brink Brewing in College Hill for a flight…
Brink has some really good beers. And Brink had a food truck out in their parking lot, Taco Oso. They had some really interesting sounding tacos. The one that stood out to me was a Mexican BLT taco…
But we were so full from lunch that we couldn’t even think about eating anything else. We’ll have to keep an eye out for Taco Oso in the future. 😀🍺🐻❤️
UPDATE: When we got home, there was a Zipcar parked right in front of our house…
JJVE used one when we were up in Michigan. They said Zipcar is really big out in Boston. I guess Zipcar is much more popular in places other than Cincinnati. Because we haven’t seen a Zipcar around Cincinnati in forever.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
Back when we first stumbled across Finneytown, we drove by this place called Freddy’s Frozen Custard &Steakburgers. I had never heard of Freddy’s Steakburgers before. But apparently, it’s a chain founded in Wichita, Kansas in 2002 with over 300 locations. Who knew? It wouldn’t have really stood out to me except for the giant PATTY MELTS on the side of the building. And I really love patty melts. Genifer said that someday when we were in Finneytown again, we could stop and check Freddy’s out and someday turned out to be today…
Genifer ordered a cheeseburger…
And of course, I ordered a patty melt…
It was really good stuff! Their patty melt was delicious and I loved their famous jalapeno fry sauce. Afterwards, we shared a Dirt ’n Worms mini concrete with Freddy’s creamy vanilla custard, Oreo cookies, gummi worms, topped whipped cream and a cherry. It was also really good. But I completely forgot to take a photo of it before we starting digging in. And it was really good too. I can’t wait until we head back to Freddy’s again, hopefully in the very near future. 😀🍔❤️
